Has anything worked in your mods folder?

When i download OpenIV all that stuff was already there i only put the sheriff folders thats it i don't know is all thats stuff can be use in the game or how to use it 

Could you rename your mods folder from "Mods" to "mods"?

 

I'm not sure if that capital letter is causing an issue

I'm just trying to learn how to work with this stuff 

Ok but from the OpenIV or mods folder where the game is located 

The mods folder can be renamed in your main directory through file explorer 🙂 

ok i will try that hope it works

i didn't make no difference still can't see the 2 vehicles in the police garage all i see is the regular ones  

If you are using Patchday22 and a mods folder I'm not sure what the issue maybe.

 

I suggest trying with a different model

Looking back at you're screenshots you are using Patchday14. any vehicles you download if the author says put files into eg (Patchday8 or Patchday14) Don't! .. Put files into Patchday22. i did what you did and thanks to Charlie he's helped me with everything and couldn't ask more from him.. so put all vehicle into Patchday22 and you wont get errors

I will say that that can be debatable. They will work in the patchday locations where the base files exist. But the guaranteed location for it to work would be the latest patchday (22ng).

I don't know what im doing wrong still nothing do i have to put something else there too all im putting in there is just the sheriff ones thats it

Also ive noticed the XML files you put in Patchday14 , you need to put them in (GTAV/ ELS/ Pack_default.. if you dont have els download this

Delete the ones out of Patchday14ng and put them into Patchday22ng but only the YTD & YFT files only and that will work.

that's what I'm missing the ELS file i didn't know how to get it i will download it now, now another thing the ELS file location will go where the game location is

Put all ELS files that you download from the link I posted into the main directory of gta here is a screenshot of mine, then the car file ELS goes into ELS/Pack_Default 

can i do that using OpenIV because it goes to the  same file anyways right 

 

I delete the xml file where i install them i put them into the ELS file but still nothing and i checked all the police vehicles there and is just the regular ones im going nuts 

Can I ask how much editing you've done in your mods folder?
