[SOLVED]Spotlight Mod Error

Featured Replies

same problem as this thread but wasn't really 100% sure on the whole 'necro posting' even if the topic was a couple months..

But still having this problem and haven't been able to find a solution for it anywhere on the internet yet. Wondering if it is clashing with another mod which causes the problem or what.

So far have tried:

>reloadscripts (at least a dozen times)

>having images.txt Read-Only, and then NOT Read-Only,

>Launching game normally, and then again in Admin mode

So far the only thing that happens is 50-50 chance it'll just give me the error, or it'll freeze the entire game.

Aaaand this post is useless now. [FIXED]:

I deleted the spotlight.img file and used OpenIV, to add it to the cdimages directory..

I also changed the toggle button to the numpad * key.

Not sure which of it worked, but hopefully this'll help anyone else who is trying to figure out the problem

What kind of problem? if its the light 'beam' not showing up, you'll have to play around with the .ini file for a bit to get it set right, if its a common vehicle, I'm sure some coordinates have already been posted.

If rather, the problem you're having is script related as well.... then I'm not sure. I haven't tested my noose vehicle yet. Only police, police2, and fbi so far :\ Will have to test.
