GTA V loads into menu, but Rage Plugin Hook is stuck on "Launching Game"

Featured Replies

Everything was working fine today, until my power shut off for a few seconds while creating a new mods folder, which caused my PC to shut off and restart, installing some updates as well as updating OpenIV. After that I made the new mods folder, loaded up RPH, and instead of GTA loading into the logos with the RPH logo swooping down to the corner, the big RPH logo stayed on my desktop with "Launching Game" below the text, with the options and exit icons clickable. GTA loaded fine and i can load into story mode fine, just with no RPH. No matter how long i wait, RPH doesn't move from the "Launching Game" stage. Tried just about everything to no avail. Need some help, please.

If you have trouble running RagePluginHook with the Epic Games launcher, do the following:
1. Launch Grand Theft Auto V via the Epic Games Launcher.
2. Load into SinglePlayer.
3. Tab out of your game (ALT+TAB) and run RagePluginHook.
4. Once it successfully hooks you can tab back into Grand Theft Auto V.

I own the game via the Rockstar Launcher. I've tried this and alt-tabbing before and during the single player loading screens, but RPH just loads up to the "Launching game" stage and tries to launch the game again, resulting in a Rockstar Launcher text box saying "GTA V is already running, please exit the game and try again" or something like that.

If you have more than one GTA V folder, make sure you launch it from the correct one.

Then, if you have GeForce Overlay, disable it.

It's not a RPH issue. It's user error. Something is blocking your game from launching.
