Hi mate,

Everything working great now and I'm back into the swing of things.

I used your attached video to help me set up BetterEMS using voice commands (since it was there) however I'm noticing that the units don't respond code 3 (or with any lights on at all for that matter).

 

Is this possibly because I have coded the XML file wrong or do you reckon its a bug with BetterEMS? I have contacted the plugin author about this too, but figured I would have better luck reaching out to you considering you made GP in the first place.

This is my log from literally 2 minutes ago (game crashed). I had called for EMS using grammar police maybe 4-5 minutes before the crash occurred. So hopefully its of use.

 

I've been kind of dealing with it for now until I know for sure what's going wrong and I've noticed that sometimes the BetterEMS spawns Code3 yet most time it doesn't. It seems to be random. 😛

So before the last GTA and LSPDFR update. I was using your mod without any issues whatsoever. I took a break from LSPDFR because the GTA update pretty much screwed up my game once again. Once I got everything reinstalled and configured, grammar police loads but doesn't seem to allow me to talk to dispatch. I hit the RightMenu button and the character doesn't even do the animation. If you could help me out that would be great.

I figured it out. I forgot the RightMenu button is the Alt button. Just had a dumb moment.

Your log seems to cut off early.  

I imagine that because the game crashed. Had to reset computer so the log probably didn't end where it should've. I've narrowed it down to where lights and sirens don't sound until the responder (or my character) is 100m away. Which I want to say might be an ELS issue. Nevertheless, I think it isn't anything to do with Grammar Police or the way I've made the XML to call it in. The Author of BetterEMS is also saying a similar thing about the ELS model ambulance I'm using.

Hi Opus,

I'm asking around on every page I have installed to my LSPDFR currently.

(Note this isn't an issue with your plugin directly, its just me seeking advice)

I apologise for the inconvenience of littering your thread for the last 3 days.

 

I have an ambient event causing "problems". It's essentially a red blip on the map (signifying a fleeing ped/driver) that in-game is a black Mammoth Patriot. When I get close to it, it just runs off and I'm forced into a pursuit that I cannot jump out of. I have no warning this is going to happen, nor any info as to why the driver is running from me.

As you can imagine if I'm just nonchalantly patrolling and this guy turns up, it just ruins it. The ped driving is called "Ace Gunner". He has no priors, his license/warrant are in order. In fact, then only thing 'dodgy' about him is the fact he carries around some meth.

 

This is my issue... It always the SAME car, SAME driver, SAME contraband. And this spawns sometimes every 10 minutes. And basically spawns nearby (stalking me) ALL THE TIME just in case you thought ignoring it would make it go away.

 

Do you have any idea:

a) what plugin this could be from (I've uninstalled all my callout packs and plugins I consider as a potential cause - which didn't work)?

b) how I stop it from happening (it would be nice to keep it if there was some variety, instead of the same variables over and over)?

 

I haven't noticed this until maybe a couple of days ago so I don't think its a standard LSPDFR feature, and everything I have left installed (including this) doesn't show any signs of this 'ambient event'.

I feel so dumb, spent 2 hours trying to get mod to work only to realize that I cannot read and its right alt not left alt. wow I am dumb lol, otherwise its a great mod
