Hi all

TL:DR - stick with it if you are new.

Just wanted to say that I've been playing around with LSPDFR for a week or so now. Had lots of learning experiences given that I am totally new to 'modding' - conflicts, crashes, no understanding of what I was doing or how to even flash someone to stop, menu conflicts, getting run over by trucks because I didn't stop traffic etc, anti-virus flagging mods as ransomware (I'll admit that one made me soil).

I've now got a stable game with just Ultimate Backup an Stop the Ped and Compulite and I'm really getting the hang of it and immersing myself in the world. I've got a stack of court cases upcoming and those bad MOFO's are going down. Now I've got the hang of the mod, I'm going to create a new character and roleplay it. I'm going to add the other BejolJo mods because they look useful.

When you go off shift can you do other stuff  you could do in the vanilla game (go for a beer, or food etc) or are you limited to just the police station and the apartment?

YES! Yes to all of this! New players to the modding community, you will get better with time. I learned the same exact way. Through trial and error and lots of research. It takes time but you will get it in the end. It just take time to learn all the new material.

I havent found a mod that allows stuff like that yet, i know there is mods for Five-M (Needing food, water, buying stuff, exc) but i havent found a good one for single player , I found one but i didnt like it so i uninstalled it, also, there is a mod that makes your cars require gas , i like that cuz it gives you something to worry about via your car

I agree, I would like a mod (or even incorporate it into LSPDFR itself) that allows you to do stuff off duty or even on duty like buying food or gas. I am not to keen on the necessity part as I have been in ESX servers and it honestly is a pain in the neck more than a cool feature as you can die if you forget, or if you are in the middle of a scene and you cant get the necessity taken care of.
