RagePluginHook unsupported game patch

Featured Replies

I have the retail version of GTA V, with the 7 disks, and have been attempting to install and run LSPDFR, the Ragepluginhook...but it absolutely will not work, says "the current game version is not supported, installed game version: 1737, latest game version 1737, supported game version: 1868." It also said upon first try that its detecting elevated privileges. I tried unclicking "run as administrator," but then it just goes right back to "current game version not supported."

How do i fix this? This is so frustrating, and most of the videos on YouTube are for the steam version, or made for someone who has been gaming and doing stuff on a PC for years, not a noob like myself lol...any suggestions?

Come posso risolvere questo problema? Questo è così frustrante, e la maggior parte dei video su YouTube sono per la versione steam, o realizzati per qualcuno che gioca e fa cose su un PC da anni, non un noob come me lol ... qualche suggerimento?

To update correctly the game in your case, do right click on Rockstar Games Launcher and click on administrator privileges. You enter the game with administrator settings directly from the GTA 5 .exe to  update it, but is not the correct step to update GTA 5, you must enter how i said previously by Rockstar Games Launcher

You need to delete GTA5.exe in your GTA V folder, and then verify your game files.

For the Retail version of GTA V: Open the Rockstar Games launcher -> Locate "Settings" in the top right corner -> Select under "My Installed Games" Grand Theft Auto 5 -> Select Verify Integrity.

For the Steam version of GTA V: Right click Grand Theft Auto V in Steam -> Properties -> Local Files -> Verify Integrity Of Game Cache.

I'm getting the same thing.

I too have a retail version which I bought several years ago. I uninstalled and reinstalled for .4 with no problems. Yesterday I uninstalled everything and attempted to reinstall and start fresh. GTA installed and the game worked. I downloaded LSPDFR and installed and attempted to run. As I said, I got the same as you.

When first running the game after the install, all was fine. On the second attempt to run the game is when it attempted to download and install updates and patches.

I don't think you will have the Rockstar Game Launcher as mentioned earlier. I believe that came along with one of the updates--which we can't get because of the error issue. R Support shows a fix for a 202 code which I tried, and that doesn't work.

I'm really surprised there hasn't been a solution offered.
