The latest updated version of RAGE Plugin Hook, required to play LSPDFR, can be found inside the LSPDFR download. It is not currently available on the RAGE Plugin Hook website.

[Suggestion] when unarmed aiming button plays intimidation action

when our Charakter is unarmed and presses the right mouse button he will intimidate instead of getting ready for fist fight.

 

Imagine you're pressing the right mouse button to aim unarmed at a suspect:

and instead of this ...

i have problems with overriding the standard fist fight animation when aiming with unarmed.

I agree, this works way better. I used to be able to put my hand on my holster with copholster, but since the gun not being put back bug I removed the plugin so it would be nice to have this feature in base LSPDFR

I was just thinking about this the other day and came across your post to find out someone else (obviously 😛) had this exact thought long back! 

This is so badly needed. It really doesn't make sense to go through the menu to intimidate someone, only to not being able to stop the animation! This idea (or maybe a keybind as an alternative) would be a gem of a feature. Also, no hate to the creator, but Cop Holster has its serious downsides for which it doesn't exactly fit in.

Hope to see this in the future versions of LSPDFR or some script implementing this. 🙂

I would certainly be interested in this feature - any chance you could reload your pictures?  I am sure the animations would look great.  Would be fantastic if the action would lead to an effect (or, at least a chance of) on the AI.  I know the one through the Main menu seems to have a variable effect - or is that just random?  You know how sometimes the driver refuses to get out of the vehicle, you ask again, maybe one more time......then the message pops up about trying something else?  I have had some success with the "intimidate" menu option.

Sadly i don't have the pictures anymore but thos not too bad.

 

It was basically showing the unarmed aiming animation (your character prepares for a fist fight)

 

And the second shows the intimidating animation in front of an suspect.

I don't remember if I knew this back then, but a few weeks ago I learned you can just use your left caps button to perform the current selected action without having the menu open, so that's way better than having to open the menu every time you want to flash your badge, or intimidate someone.

I was trying to achieve that the player would lock its aim to center the players movement around that specific ped just like when aiming in fist fight. So your aim would focus on the suspect. In case your suspect draw a gun you would then press the fire button once to immediately switch to lspdfr's draw gun from holster animation and unlock your aim that fixated the suspect. 
I nice side effect of centering the movement of the player around the suspect would be you could walk backwards with a hand on your gun when things seems dangerous.

In my eyes a golden mod idea but the restrictions of gta kept stealing my nerves and approaches ideas.
