Install went swimmingly - renamed the file chpolice2, and imported the proper vehicle.meta information as well. However, when I spawn the car in game, it has no sound, and and the EMS lights will not turn on - it seems as though it's being treated as a regular car, because the takedowns turn on when I hit the highbeams.

 

Any ideas folks?

Sounds like you forgot the carvariations.meta

No, it does not work for me if I change the file names to police2. I'm replacing them in patchday3ng but it's still the normal Gta police cruiser.

For the people having the rambar fall off be sure your using the vehicles.meta file included, be sure to replace the vehicle.meta in the latest patchday dlc.

you have to go into patchday4 and replace police with the impala files

Yeah but if I rename the Impala file from police3 to police 2 and place them in patchday3ng I still have the standard Gta police cruiser, not the Impala. Why ? What I'm doing wrong ?

Not sure, that worked for me. Do you have the openIV.asi in your GTA5 folder?

Yeah, it's working with every other car but I can't have the Impala as police2. I really want the Impala to chase me when I got stars :teehee:

But for some reason it's not working, why ? I renamed the files, replaced them with the originals (btw I'm using mods folder) and imported some LAPD skins. I also tried not to put in the LAPD skins that wasn't working, too. I nearly tried everything. :mellow:

You could try replacing police2 in x64e and patchday1ng as well... but patchday3ng alone worked for me.

Sounds like you forgot the carvariations.meta

Added it as you suggested. Lights now work, but the car produces no sound, and the siren still doesn't activate. 

Again, the car is named chpolice2, files are in the patchday3 vehicles.rpf, and the vehicles.meta and carvariations.meta are both updated with the correct data.

I have a question, I downloaded this car, I install everything correctly, I get in game and the lights don't look right like yellow light on the left and blue on the right, I can't take the light bar off it doesn't work, and the handling is off. Do I have to install something to make this work?

Be sure to install the vehicles.meta file & carvariations.meta properly if using police3 or police2 slots, using police4 slot shouldn't need any use of those extra files. As for the lightbar removal i changed that in the latest update.

Well there are police2 files somewhere overriding your patchday3 best bet would be is to add those files to the latest patchday's vehicle.rpf file so it overrides everything.

@Bxbugs123I'm not sure why you had to release early? Bueno's car just had a 2700 on it. How is that not playing nice? Do you own the rights to releasing an Impala with a 2700 on it? Sorry, but I see your logic flawed in this statement. I also see you changed the date from 10/01 on the release to the actual date you released this  (10/2). I'm not trying to start an argument or flame war, I just want to make sure those you tried to put on blast were clarified for.

well i would love to have this car but its so broken that i wont i did try to install with the crappy install instructions that it wrecked my game had to delete the mods folder and now start over. The instal files are all over the place and it has inncorrect labbeling on the police2 which wants you to replace police3 and other things. thumbs down big time ill go use the other impala that one actually works.
