[STANDALONE] Bravado Buffalo Sheriff Cruiser by Småen 0.2

(4 reviews)

8 Screenshots

Want more Sheriff cars? Then this one is for you. This mod adds, yes, that's right, adds a new Bravado Buffalo Sheriff Cruiser to your game!

--------

Painted in white, this matches the vanilla Sheriff Cruiser perfectly. Get some more variation on the roads* and in car chases* by downloading this one. Works just like the LSPD Buffalo with working lights, siren and everything else.

*You need to modify the dispatch.meta yourself if you wish to have the Sheriff Department use this in chases. This will be added to the download later

--------

To use this vehicle in-game, use a trainer that allows to to spawn by vehicle name OR use the RAGE Plugin console and type 'spawn sheriffbuf'

Installation can be a bit tricky if you don't know what to do, but don't be afraid to try it.

Readme file included with instructions for:

  • Simple install. Replace old files with included ones from this mod.
  • Advanced install. If you have other addon vehicles or otherwise modified vehicles.meta or carvariations.meta (located at mpluxe2), use this one.

Includes vehicles.meta and carvariations.meta for using on it's own or with my Coroner Boxville. Can easily be made compatible with other addon vehicles.

If you have any questions or requests, don't be afraid to ask in the comments.

Enjoy!

Check out my Coroner Boxville if you would like a bigger coroner van with livery or the Vapid Speedo Coroner van if you want a smaller one.

So have you mastered the ability to add additional vehicles now since your last submission to the GTA V world? Because this concept now opens a whole world of opportunity to add different departmental vehicle types. Incidentally I wanted to have a dedicated Highway Patrol car instead of the unmarks, I think you've found a method of doing this by adding dispatchable vehicles. Sheriff Buffalo's really will help out because of the long stretch of road those vipids have to endure and I need the extra power behind the wheel that this car could put out.

I hope to see more standalone vehicles show up.

It is currently not possible to choose what vehicles LSPDFR spawns, in chases and backup, but it is possible to change what spawns when you have a wanted level.

Hopefully LSPDFR adds a configurable .ini file soon. That is in my opinion should be their top priority.

Adding vehicles is actually very easy. There is a tutorial right here you can use if you wish to do this yourself. I have loads of added vehicles in my game, both self-made from scratch (own skin) and some downloaded ones I've modified to be an addon.

http://openiv.com/?p=1132 You'll have to use this method to stop it from updating everytime.

That would be easy. The mapping is not changed. If you have basic skills, you can easily combine my white Sheriff skin with the vanilla LSPD skin.

You can upload it if you wish, but only the skin itself (.ytd files only).

So The Sheriff Buffalo has a more matte black finish then the glossy of the Cruiser but you wont really notice in-game. Had to uninstall and re-install LSPDFR and RageHookPlugin to get rage hook to launch the game. Re-installing my mods for plugin folder. Will let ya'll know if i encounter any problems. I dont know much about modding so thats why i ported a cruiser skin to a buff.

Could you maybe make norwegian police skins on the police cars??

I really don't have any interest in making non-Los Santos vehicles. And there aren't any fitting cars for it either.

Just wait a bit and some proper Norwegian Passats, Vitos and other will pop up around the place
