This is a HVY Insurgent (insurgent2) model, UV-mapped to support liveries and outfitted with similar light setup found on Brute Riot (riot).

This is an added vehicle, not a replacement. Text files compatible with Realism Dispatch Enhanced 1.2 are included. All changes made by me are marked by "ADDED BY HVY INSURGENT MAPPED DEFAULT-STYLE MOD BY YARD1" comment.

If you wish for it to spawn during wanted levels, set it in dispatch.meta to either roadblocks or POLICE_CAR. SWAT_JEEP will spawn empty cars.

Included in the archive are 3 skins - NOOSE TRU, LSPD SWAT and LSSD BEAT. By default, High Quality (4096x4096) liveries are placed in policeinsurgent+hi.ytd (spawning only when player is close) and Standard Quality (2048x2048) in policeinsurgent.ytd - this allows for optimal performance and minimal quality loss. If using High Quality (4096x4096) liveries causes performance problems (it really shouldn't), consider using Standard Quality (2048x2048) versions in policeinsurgent+hi.ytd.

Multiple liveries are supported, up to 8. If you wish to add more, edit carvariations.meta.

I want to install this to fbi2 and sheriff2 since NOOSE backup never uses the Riot truck (and I want to put my sheriff skin on the sheriff version), but still have it retain the same qualities as the Insurgent (its handling, engine sounds, and bulletproof/mostly damage-proof body). How should I do that? Referring to carvariations.meta and/or vehicles.meta because I know that I can simply rename the files to install to any slot.

I would not recommend you to replace fbi2 or sheriff2 with them because it will simply spawn empty Insurgents during wanted levels, and I don't know how to fix it.

To answer your question, you would have to copy everything from vehicles.meta entry and leave only the two first lines of the car you are replacing. Don't know if carvariations.meta would work, as you can't edit the vanilla carvariations.ymt.

You can try, I am not sure if that would fuck anything up (in campaign, for example).

Changed insurgent filename to riot and dumped it in every rpf that had the riot (none had the +hi ytd file though, so I just left them out), and also added it to mpheist as well for good measure, sure enough at wanted level 4 and 5 had them spawning at roadblocks (but oddly enough also had a couple of normal riots as well floating around, even though I had replaced every one I could find with the insurgent!).

Works great, just remember to also replace the Nooseriot as well, and I just copied and pasted the insurgent handling into the riot slot as well (it tips over a lot otherwise!)

What a sexy beast! If only we could touch the things needed to make it as functional as the default vehicles.

Don't know if carvariations.meta would work, as you can't edit the vanilla carvariations.ymt.

After seeing Lund's note on his Gen 1 Detective Stainer, I found making an entry in the Christmas2 DLC for a base vehicle does work.

I replaced my Sheriff2 with a copy of FBI2, and changed the sound ID to PRANGER, so I could have an unmarked SUV with the normal police siren instead of the FBI siren. At first it only spawned white like Sheriff2 was supposed to, but after adding the mentioned carvariations entry, it now spawns in black or white.

How?? this car have so many names in the carvariation is this named "policeriot" in the vehicles "policeinsurgent" and the file "insurgent2" how can i install it right and spawn it right ???

I'm trying to figure out to spawn the insurgent 2 and have it spawn for wanted levels ... please enlighten me on this slight issue I have installed it in open iv and it shows there but wont spawn it correctly. I didn't quite understand what path or line in the readme I needed to do to make it spawn for wanted levels.

To be clear, when the update came, I copied the new update.rpf into my mod folder and edited the (new) vehicles.meta inside.
policeinsurgent is still suggested for autofill in rage console, but when I try to spawn one, nothing appears.
After the update I had the same problem with the police dominator, but once I edited the vehicles.meta, it spawned just fine.
I've tried it from scratch, going through the readme again and again, edited vehicles and carvariations but with no luck.
Can anyone please help me fix this, I really love this mod!

I copied a fresh update.rpf to mods and changed the vehicles.meta in
\mods\update\x64\Dlcpacks\mpheist\dlc.rpf\common\data\levels\gta5 and still it doesnt spawn. The suggestion is there in the console though.

Was looking forward to playing with this but I can't get it to work. I have followed the install exactly but just crashes the game. Has anything been changed in the game for this to no longer work? Can you please look into it, I would really like to use this

@Yard1 Hi, we're all still waiting for a reply how to spawn the vehicle. My favourite vehicle, but you just don't reply to people when they say they can't spawn it. Okay, so, I placed policeinsurgent in patchday3ng and put policeinsurgent in update/update/common/data/levels/gta5 and in mpchristmas and it spawned ingame but crashed immediately after. What gives?
