Emergency Services Overhaul 1.1

(10 reviews)

16 Screenshots

What started out as simply adding a few emergency SUVs to the game turned into a bit of an overhaul of the emergency services in the game. I ended up adding 8 vehicles to various law enforcement, fire, and EMS fleets in the game, as well as changing some existing ones pretty substantially.

- The LSPD and LSSD both have their own SUVs that will pursue the player at 3-4 stars.

- The LSSD now have Mavericks and Buzzards at their disposal, while the LSPD have gained Swifts alongside their Mavericks. NOoSE will also pursue in Annihilators at 4-5 stars.

- In the city, NOoSE pursues in both Riots and their new NOoSE Grangers, while in the country they operate in NOoSE Transporters and Tactical Sheriff Grangers.

- At 5 stars, local law enforcement disengages and the FIB move in alongside NOoSE, pursuing in Buffalos and setting up roadblocks with Grangers.

- Los Santos County EMS services are now active and will respond to medical emergencies in the countryside instead of ambulances from the city.

- The LSFD have acquired a new Battalion Granger, available for players to spawn and utilize.

- And a few vehicle textures were enhanced (Sheriff Cruiser and Buzzard, Annihilator, etc.) so their liveries appear sharper in-game. All Vapid Cruiser models also come with the enhanced next-gen LED lights, so those of you with that mod already installed don't have to worry about anything when replacing.

This is just what I've worked on so far; I hope to add more in the future, such as Highway Patrol units and implementing the Vapid Interceptor, likely for both the LSPD and LSSD. Unfortunately, firefighters don't seem to want to respond in anything but the vanilla firetruck so as of now it seems impossible to have them respond in the LSFD Granger or any other rigs. I was unsuccessful in getting them to respond in a Blaine County engine in the countryside, so for now this feature is likely not going to happen. Other than that, I hope you guys enjoy the mod! Feel free to leave any questions, comments, or criticism; it's always great to hear all your suggestions!

What's New in Version 1.1

Released

All added vehicle files are now manually imported into xmas2vehicles.rpf so one can choose which vehicles they wish to add. They are located in the Vehicle Files folder within the mpchristmas2 folder in the download.

*Note that not adding some vehicles could mess with the dispatch.meta, as most added vehicles are included in it, so you may want to edit unused vehicles out of this file to avoid any problems.

Am I the only one having this issue? : When I use the "spawn" command in RageHook, I no longer see "Police1, Police3, Ambulance", etc. As I know them, I'm able to spawn them, but they are no longer listed.

Anyway, it's a really nice mod and now that ZModeler is working, we will be able to replace/add new emergency vehicles, which is a really good new!

Good job!

Hey, first i appreciate the skins, very nice. But I have one problem, i can only spawn the sheriff suv, because the other cars are not listed at my trainer. I have the native trainer, ragehook 0.22 and ScriptHook V. Anyone got a guess?

you can use ragehook to spawn in your cars. for instance, when you press F4 to bring down the ragehook menu, simply type "spawn" without the quotes and then the vehicle name that you want to spawn in for instance it would look like this: spawn policesuv

I may have a solution to the problem for blank interiors just add the interior lines intto the vehicle.meta files

<Item>
      <parent>vehicles_car_interior</parent>
      <child>car name</child>
    </Item>

for some reason my police suv has a black interior everything is super dark any one else experiencing same problem?

Hello, I have a problem...

After I installed the Mod, I started GTA 5 with RAGEPluginHook, then the GTA launcher appears and started downloading files (2-4 Gb)... I stopped the download and watched into the mpchristmas2 and in some patchday folders, they were empty... After that, I downloaded all the Files again and tried it again, exact the same problem again ! I dont know what Ive did wrong. I hope you can help me.

Btw. Im german, sorry for some Mistakes :)

Am loving using these vehicles in LSPD:FR, only problem I've noticed is that since I run on low graphics settings the AMBULANCE2 has a very noticeable increase in texture quality over the AMBULANCE. Maybe something to consider adding in the future, making a High Quality version of the default ambulances to bring them up to the same quality as your new one.

The interiors of some of the vehicles appear to be grayish looking, as if they have no texture. Is there a solution to this?

As I used it more I have now started to notice the Police SUV's lack of interior more. I tried fixing this issue myself but was unfortunately unsuccessful. As I've started using first person more I find myself using this vehicle less, which is a shame because the rest of its pretty nice, just the solid black interiors let it down.

Try re-downloading and reinstalling the files, and make sure the correct additions to your text files are made.

Re downloaded, reinstalled, double checked installation, issue persists.

I suspect the issue is with the mod itself not just the downloaded files. I'm not really sure where I should be going for messing with files myself since I haven't worked on mods since GTA IV.

Just to clarify, it is the same issue as Shadesman89 above posted about, where some elements appear to be missing and some appear to just be incredibly dark in colour. After loading it up in an editor it looks perfectly fine, its just in game where it looks like this.

R.I.P. - just like most popular mods. Updates kill mods, as was the case of Garry's Mod update 13.
