More Pedestrian and Traffic 1.2

This is a simple modification that increases the population in Grand Theft Auto V to make the city of Los Santos feels less like a ghost town.

As of 1.2 There are these options available at the moment:

High Peds Only (10x)
High Traffic Only (10x)
High Traffic and Peds (10x)

Med Peds Only (5x)
Med Traffic Only (5x)
Med Traffic and Peds (5x)

Low Peds Only (2x)
Low Traffic Only (2x)
Low Traffic and Peds (2x)

NOTE: this mod only increases the amount of Traffic, Peds, and Parked Cars not Population Variety. also be sure to set the Population Density and Variety to the max in your graphic setting.

I don't want to add an incredibly High setting of the pedestrian and vehicles because let's face it.. it will never going to work in a million years, but for some of you who wants to take the risk of having a potential gamecrash after a few minutes of playing (unless you have a beast of a PC), i will add it in the next update along with few other options.

Installation: extract the file somewhere, Launch Open IV, direct to " \update\update.rpf\common\data ", choose which settings you'd like and simply replace the vanilla gameconfig.xml with the modified one, close Open IV and you're all set to go!

as long as it does NOT replace gameconfig.xml

I guess now with the increased traffic in the inner city we'll have to change to a 'no-pursuit' policy because of the dangers of ped traffic...

Reading this I was going to ask how is this like on the performance of the computer increasing the numbers of cars and peds I bet its quite a load if you don't have the speed and memory? Very interesting mod, I'll have to check it out.

Will the traffic be lighter in the areas such as the mountain trails ? I know you have different levels of density but there isn't too much ped/cars in areas that shouldn't, just curious.

in certain area yes but they are also increased..

Could we get a video of you driving around? I feel like traffic will stack up bad because of the long red light times

Sorry about your bad day at work D:

But you could try my updated version of the mod...

it doesn't change much but it does split the 2 Ped and Car Traffic...

if you don't want too, its fine :D the mod isn't for everyone

When I try to run the game it gives me an error about my game memory or something, does this mean I cannot run it? It's only the Traffic x2 one

Hi, Sorry For Late Reply, as i have been quite busy, anyway... does it give you info information on the error? also check your GTA5 settings, as i have heard that causes problems with video memory. Any more information would help me solve your problem.

All it tells me is GTA 5 has stopped working and then it offers me starting it in safe mode. That'a all.
