My first skin pack that I uploaded to LCPDFR.

It's a skin pack that turns your favorite police vehicles theme, from many vehicle references that I found, to Boston Police theme.

Why I'm making this?

So, many people have made textures of NYPD to be applied on their favorite vehicles like CVPI and I think I should move on to much more... American. Not New Yorker, I'm afraid. :smile:

Inspired from my originally created short story called "Road to Capitol" (an adaptation of Road to Ninja: Naruto the Movie), this skin pack is born, to clear my boring thoughts and to train my drawing skills on a computer. This is an oldschool Boston Police Department Skin Pack that I created based on several references.

I made it in just one day with several tests in game. It's not perfect, but I hope you like it, for you Americans, especially who lived in Boston city.

The skin pack features both Police and SWAT forces, which designed for these vehicles:

CVPI (Bxbugs123's template [newer and older] and Cj24's template)
Impala 2007 & 2013 (Bxbugs123's template, EVI/YakadafiAR not yet compatible)
Ford Expedition (SheriffVanDyck's template, )
Lenco Bearcat (KevinDV's template, ELS version here)
older Tahoe (not 2015 or Z71 Tahoe - Bxbugs123's template with window template)

What's New in Version 1.1a

It's a long time I never gone into the updated version based from the comments. Okay, here goes the new fix, version 1.1 alpha (1.1a).

Note that for Cj24's template I made special because the popular CVPI model made by Cj24 has posted by various authors in this site.

My recommendation for this special thing is to have a CVPI pack, made preset for Boston Police here (this one uses Cj24's template): http://www.lcpdfr.com/files/file/6715-boston-pd-cvpi-pack/

Police Pack v1.1a Changelog

Fixed wording for "Boston Police" for all vehicles (flattened 20% of original, this is as close as I can get from references)
Phone number for Crime Stopper was changed to 1-800-494-TIPS and changed the font
Adjusted/resized "POLICE" words to be more flat to 20 or 30% of normal or smaller
New sets of police license plates (from various authors and edited by me)
Made a combination of colors, one from Sixium's (for CVPI), one from gangrenn (others)
More sets of skins for Cj24's template (this is due to lots of Cj24's CVPI models posted in LCPDFR.com)
Resized 4-set numbers to a proper size for Cj24's template - like Bxbugs123's template
Added roof numbers for some skins

SWAT Pack v1.1a Changelog

Fixed wording for "Boston Police" for all vehicles (flattened 20% of original, this is as close as I can get from references)
New rear decal (trunk/back door) for Bearcat and Tahoe, based from RexCramer's Bearcat and Tahoe skin design
Resized SWAT Logo for Bearcat's left and right sides and repositioned to close to the windows
Repositioned Unit Number for new rear decal (available also without Unit Number)
Repositioned "Boston Police" words to a proper location for all vehicles
Resized USA Flag and "Police" words to a proper size
New sets of police license plates (from various authors and edited by me)

Not too bad, could use a little bit of tilting on the "Boston Police" wording but definitely not too bad

What? You want that "Boston Police" word to be stretched a bit? It's quite hard, you know, because some vehicles have a possibility of those two words to clip through the car doors. Or you want me to change the font? Someone in this forum discussed about it, but I'm lacking on resources. The Futura font is the only one that fits into it, for an oldschool BPD.

I'll give it a shot, but I need more references of BPD cars in real life. I'm Indonesian, not American, I'm afraid.

Thanks for your reply. If I have time, I'll give an update to this skin pack, adding the crime stopper variant for CVPI. I think I applied that variant on Impala cruiser and Ford Expedition; just check the screenshots of this mod. Also, the bpdnews link isn't close to the rear doors, but relatively close to the rear lights. Check it again.
