Patrol Suite Information

Patrol Suite is an all-in-one LSPDFR patrol enhancement plugin built to make regular patrol gameplay feel more complete. It brings together HUD tools, RoadWatch radar/plate reading, vehicle control, patrol equipment, loadouts, and compatibility support in one clean package.

Use what you want, disable what you do not, and tune the rest to fit your setup.

Features

NexusMDT Support

Patrol Suite has moved away from the old built-in CompuPro system and now focuses on NexusMDT compatibility.

Patrol Suite handles the patrol-side tools while NexusMDT can handle the modern MDT workflow.

Patrol HUD / SignalVitals

Patrol Suite includes a lightweight HUD for patrol information and equipment status.

Features include:

  • Location, road, cross-road, and area display

  • Direction display

  • Movable HUD elements

  • SignalVitals weapon/equipment display

  • PNG-based speed limit signs

  • Optional over-limit feedback

RoadWatch Radar, Plate Reader & ALPR

RoadWatch is Patrol Suite’s vehicle enforcement system.

Features include:

  • Radar power/transmit controls

  • Moving and stationary radar behavior

  • Target lock support

  • Plate Reader activation

  • Manual plate lock

  • ALPR alert cards

  • Separate movable Radar, Plate Reader, and ALPR displays

  • Current-road focused speed limit lookup

Default examples:

  • Plate Reader activation: NumPad7

  • Plate Reader lock: NumPad4

Vehicle Control

Patrol Suite includes patrol-focused vehicle controls for normal driving, stops, and code runs.

Features include:

  • Turn signals

  • Hazard lights

  • Seatbelt system

  • Optional seatbelt chime

  • Hold-to-exit engine behavior

  • Fuel system

  • Refueling

  • SignalOmeter display

  • PRNDL/status indicators

  • Friendly honk

  • Automatic siren cutout

  • Spotlight Controller

SignalOmeter / Fuel Display

SignalOmeter gives vehicle status and fuel information a dedicated display.

Features include:

  • Fuel arc display

  • PRNDL/status indicators

  • Movable display elements

  • Left/right fuel arc side option

  • Fuel arc mirroring for right-side layouts

If the Fuel System is disabled, the fuel arc hides automatically.

Patrol Loadouts

Patrol Suite includes its own loadout system with in-game editing.

Features include:

  • Patrol Suite-owned loadouts

  • In-game loadout builder

  • Weapon category selection

  • Compatible component selection

  • Add-on weapon/component support

  • Policing Redefined loadout import support

  • Enter to apply selected loadout

  • Delete to remove selected Patrol Suite loadouts

Loadouts are stored in:

plugins/LSPDFR/PatrolSuite/PatrolTools/Loadouts.json

Weapon Stowing / Holster Compatibility

Patrol Suite no longer forces its own full holster system. It can now step aside for external weapon/holster plugins.

Supported provider options:

  • Auto

  • Kinetic

  • Realistic Holster

  • Off

This lets Kinetic or Realistic Holster handle draw/holster behavior while Patrol Suite keeps its own tools active.

Smart Taser

Smart Taser improves taser feedback and less-lethal gameplay.

Features include:

  • Probe/wire visuals

  • Improved taser reactions

  • Better Hit Reactions-friendly behavior

  • Better down-time after taser hits

  • Taser cycle audio support

  • Kinetic/external animation compatibility

OC Spray

OC Spray adds another less-lethal option for close-range encounters.

Features include:

  • OC Spray behavior

  • Canister display

  • Capacity tuning

  • Exposure/recovery timing

  • Self-contamination option

  • Movable display

Lidar Gun

The Lidar Gun adds handheld speed enforcement.

Features include:

  • First-person use

  • Mouse wheel zoom

  • Weapon-switch blocking while aiming

  • Movable Lidar display

Road Equipment

Patrol Suite includes road-side enforcement tools.

Current tools include:

  • Grappler

  • Star Chase-style tracking

The Grappler now stays mounted after exiting the patrol vehicle and will not release a captured vehicle just because the player steps out.

Critical State

Critical State 2.0 improves downed/officer survival gameplay.

Features include:

  • Death interception

  • Downed bleed-down behavior

  • Critical health freeze logic

  • EMS/provider treatment flow

  • Severity-based treatment chances

  • Forced extraction from vehicles

  • Slow recovery behavior

  • Manual Stability Full Heal option

Configuration

Main config file:

plugins/LSPDFR/PatrolSuite/Config.ini

Used for:

  • Module toggles

  • Keybinds

  • Common feature settings

  • HUD options

  • Vehicle Control settings

  • Patrol Tools settings

  • Compatibility options

Older settings files are now treated as legacy files. Patrol Suite should no longer overwrite manual Config.ini edits during normal startup.

File Structure

Main folders include:

  • Audio

  • UI

  • PatrolTools

  • VehicleControl

  • Data

Common editable files include:

  • Config.ini

  • PatrolTools/Loadouts.json

  • PatrolTools/AddonLoadoutItems.json

  • PatrolTools/SpeedLimits.csv

  • VehicleControl/Fuel.json

  • VehicleControl/GrapplerOffsets.json

  • VehicleControl/SpotlightProfiles.json

Some UI assets are intentionally left loose so users can customize them.

Compatibility Notes

Patrol Suite includes compatibility support for:

  • NexusMDT

  • Policing Redefined loadouts

  • Kinetic

  • Realistic Holster

  • Better Hit Reactions

  • Stop The Ped compatibility states where applicable

Review your keybinds if you use multiple patrol enhancement plugins. Radar, ALPR, vehicle controls, holsters, weapon animations, and HUDs can overlap between mods.

Known Notes

  • NexusMDT is handled as an external integration target.

  • External holster plugins still need to be configured in their own settings.

  • Patrol Suite can respect Kinetic or Realistic Holster, but it does not fully control them.

  • Use individual move options if displays overlap.

  • Check for key conflicts if something does not respond.

  • Road Equipment added as a major category for roadside/pursuit equipment such as Grappler and Star Chase Tracker.

  • Grappler added with persistent mounted/captured vehicle behavior and JSON offset storage.

  • Spotlight Controller improved with Follow/Manual aim modes, keybind support in Master Controls, and cleaner beam rendering without the unwanted source glow.

  • SignalOmeter / Fuel fixed so the fuel arc hides when the Fuel System is disabled.

  • HUD / RoadWatch reorganized under Patrol Tools instead of a separate main Patrol HUD/UI category.

  • Speed limit lookup improved to prioritize the current road and avoid cross-street fallback.

  • Menu layout reorganized across Patrol Tools, Road Equipment, Vehicle Control, Critical State, Master Controls, and Settings/Misc.

  • Master Controls reorganized into cleaner sections with missing Spotlight keybinds added.

Hello, I just wanted to point out that the assembly version of your plugin is: 0.1.0.0 instead of: 1.0.0.0

Thanks.... not that the assembly version really matters.... but thanks

Assembly version matters because if the assembly version does not match the one on LSPDFR.com, there is no way to tell whether the user has the latest version of your plugin in their RPH log.

This shit is so cool. Saves so much resources! Is there a way to lower the speed radar option audio when running radar?

RADAR/ALPR/PLATE are controlled by RAWCANVASUI, and it goes in your main game directory

is there anyway you can make it a dual radar? if so can it please be something like this. would be way easier to run radar on the fwy.

Could contain: text, digital clock, measuring instrument, electronics, meter

then you must have installed something incorrectly, or you have something deactivated

I was suggested to do this as well... but at the same time the current one can switch from forward and rear. But I may do this as a future update.

i figured out the problem, its the calloutinterfaceAPI that's interfering with it

It doesn't interfere.... so yea you installed something wrong because the folder the RAWCANVASUI is in says to not install it if you have callout interface installed

okay one more request. can you add a taser laser(s)? if so can you make it to where the lasers turn on with the flash light.

Could contain: light

Target vehicle plates and peds ID's don't show in the MDT, either after a patdown. asking for ID, or running the plate. Also, it needs to be more optimized. Drop a few more frames than usual.

do this conflick with MDT PRO

tried to do this, the only way it was possible was with a debug line for the line to actually show crossing the screen or whatever. So as of this moment not a feature i am willing to work on, but maybe in the future

You aren't doing something correctly for the vehicle plates and IDs not showing up then when asking for ID

on a technicality no... but its supposed to replace it CAD wise

Quite the opposite for me bro. It works fine and my game also runs smooth especially because I removed a few plugins to just have Patrol Suite

will this work with stop the ped as most of us still use that....also do we need to delete compulite

I'm having an issue when using the MDT where my game doesn't pause, causing me to exit the vehicle or interact with other plugins while typing etc. I DO have it active to pause when open but still doesn't pause. Am I doing something wrong?

Maybe I did not used it properly. I can see peds now, but target vehicles I'm not getting results. It's a very nice mods, just need some ped mugshot and vehicle pics. It got a lot going on and it's very immersive. Hope more quality to life improvement comes with the MDT.

So with the "LIVE" CAD display option I am working on getting PED images to work. But since GTAV does not store VEHICLE images it is pretty much impossible to do so for that. MDTPro/Reports+ were capable of getting vehicle images through use of the browser that they were in, using an external source to match the vehicle model from in game to a vehicle model image from online. with the "LIVE" display the PED images may be inherently impossible due to it being a RawCanvasUI drawn image, but I am attempting it anyways!

there are 2 types of displays! I need to remove the "pause" function from the "LIVE" one which is the one you are more familiar with. The reason why it is unable to pause is simply due to it being a RawCanvasUI based image, pausing the game in any function causes the image not to show up. BUT! if you go to your settings.ini and look for the section [CompuPro.Advanced] You will see a display option that currently says "Live" change it to "Pause" and restart your game. When you open the CAD it will be a more CompuLite based function. Though! it still does have bugs that I am working on fixing such as overlapping. In reality I am working on updating the "PAUSE" option to look entirely different!

I see, in the future you could try making your own dlcpack specifically for laser light and flashlight textures. that might work better.
