Lose Consciousness is a unique immersion mod for Grand Theft Auto V that replaces the instant death mechanic with a realistic blackout system. When your health drops critically, your character faints and enters a vulnerable state, forcing you to wait for help or regain strength.

Key Features

• Realistic Blackout: When your health falls below 40%, your character collapses instead of dying.

• Visual Effects: The screen fades to black for a moment, then returns in a dramatic black-and-white filter.

• 3D Countdown Timer: A large, on-screen 3D text displays a countdown timer. You cannot stand up until it reaches zero.

• Dual Recovery Methods:

  • Standard: Press L after the countdown to regain consciousness on your own.

  • Integrated with Stop The Ped: If you have Stop The Ped installed, you can call an ambulance. A medic will spawn and revive you by giving a first aid kit.

• Dynamic NPC Behavior: Upon your collapse, all hostile NPCs will stop fighting and flee the area, adding a realistic twist to chaotic situations.

• Easy Installation: A simple drag-and-drop DLL file.

Usage

1. Collapse when your health is below 40%.

2. Wait for the mandatory countdown timer to finish.

3. Either:

   • Press L to get up independently, or

   • (With Stop The Ped) Call an ambulance via the Stop The Ped interaction menu and wait for the medic to administer a first aid kit.

Installation

1. Ensure you have ScriptHookV and LemonUI installed.

2. Place the LoseConsciousness.dll file into your scripts folder.

Important Notes & Known Issue

• Licensing: You are free to use this mod in your **personal gameplay mod setups/packs. However, redistribution in modpacks/builds made for others is not permitted without explicit permission. This is for personal use or as a standalone release.

• ⚠️ Known Bug: When playing as a female character, after regaining consciousness, your walk animation may temporarily switch to a male walk style. A manual reload of the save or using a style-changing menu can correct this.

This script was my private, long-term project for enhancing roleplay realism. I am now releasing it to the public so others can enjoy a more immersive survival experience in Los Santos.
