Installation

Open your Grand Theft Auto V folder, then copy the plugins folder and paste it into your game directory.

How It Works

The passenger officer performs ambient interactions such as:

  • Drinking coffee

  • Looking at a clipboard

  • Writing notes in a notepad

These animations add more realism while the officer is inside the vehicle.

Animation Mode
  • Pressing CTRL + N switches between Calm Mode and Alert Mode.

  • The Animation Mode system changes the passenger behavior animations.

  • Calm Mode plays relaxed passenger animations.

  • Alert Mode plays more alert and ready-for-action passenger animations.

  • You can change the keybind in the INI configuration file.

INI Configuration

You can:

  • Enable or disable animations for Player or AI

  • Choose Enable/Disable VehicleSeats can use animations

  • Configure the Time (seconds) cooldown animations

XML Customization

You can use:

  • Any vanilla GTA V animation

  • Custom YCD animations

You can change the animation Flag if you want the full body to be animated.

Note: use menyoo to find your position prop, and prop vehicle.

Recommended Plugins

You Recommend use to:

  • UltimateBackup or PolicingRedefined

PPA automatically detects which plugin you are using.



Note: Suspects cannot be animated because animation functions are blocked.

Awesome! Fantastic idea, friend. Maybe animations for secured suspects? Don’t know if there are any appropriate animations for this though. Smooth you can add your own animations too.

Great idea. We can have our police partner doing paperwork in the car as we drive or have partner loading gun or using computer

That's a great idea, but you can customize the XML if you add it animation and 2 prop like notepad. It's possible to do, I can update it. Thank you.

Great mod, but could you add more animations to the config, especially for the front passenger? Right now, the front passenger can’t use the window-elbow animation, and animations like using a phone or a tablet would be really cool.

Yes, There is a time in the XML file to next random animation. but don't put it on for too long

I'm going to add more animations, because I didn't think much about what to add, but I'll add more animations. thx for suggestion.

As we see in many dashcam vids suspects love to bang their head on the partition you could have the suspect doing that or have them try to slip their cuffs

The idea is very realistic, I think it's difficult to find animations of a handcuffed suspect doing something that could lead to escape, banging head example. I can try to find them in the game, but it's possible to create custom animations for YCD. Thanks for the suggestion.

At first, I thought it was animation for the suspect. I feel like the suspect needs to be talking or at least trying to hit the car. I never seen a suspect in a car purely silent all the time. Anyway, this mod is also a great idea. Why not both?

How do u assign the props so perfect in the Hand? Im trying to do the same thing but its just weird ingame

I can try to do it, I'll find some animations of the handcuffed suspect. I can't promise anything, but I think it's difficult to find in-game animations. I believe I can create animations using Blender.

Use Script Menyoo, it helps you find the perfect position, but there are video tutorials you can find.

Hey, you can add customizable buttons for each animation from an .ini file, that way we can use whichever animation we want, whenever we want. Also, add the animation where the passenger extends their arm out towards the roof and lowers the flashing light. For unmarked vehicles, that would be awesome, kind of like the TV series Alarm for Cobra 11, you know? 😅

PPA is focused on automatic passenger animations rather than keybind-based actions.

Keybinds cannot be defined in XML, as XML is only used for animation configuration.

A flashlight-only keybind may be considered for a future update.

this is possible to make this 🙂
I can handle this using the existing siren animation system.
A separate passenger_siren.xml can be used, along with a portable lightbar prop.
When the siren is activated, the passenger animation would automatically switch to this emergency signal animation.

is like polizia italian style.
