About

We have all been in the position where we forget to backup our game files before the next, never ending, GTA V update. This mod for Lenny's Mod Loader (LML) helps you preserve a specific, known working version of GTA V's core files. With each update potentially breaking mod setups or script compatibility, this mod acts as a version lock, restoring a custom set of .exe and update.rpf files whenever needed.

Requirements

  • Lenny's Mod Loader (LML)

  • GTA V (Retail/Epic/Steam)

Install

  1. Extract the "Version Lock" folder from the .rar folder

  2. Drag and drop your files into the corresponding locations inside the "Version Lock" folder.

    • A read me is located inside of the folders to tell you what files go where.

  3. Open ModManager.exe, and select the "Version Lock" folder

  4. Repeat step 3 every time the game updates.

Yes, the .rar was locked. You would need to extract the files anyways which is then when you'll copy your files over.
