Grappler brings a whole new way to tackle vehicles fleeing from you.

I want to give a HUGE thanks to @RogueThunder for making the grappler model and @Scorpionfam for making the lowering animation. Without the help of these devs this plugin would not have been possible.

This plugin is set up to use custom made props, meaning it will work with any police vehicle you want. You just need to configure the offset for the vehicle you're using and save it. The offsets will save to an xml file so you won't have to remake the offset every time.

Using the plugin is very simple, once its set up in the right position, just press the key defined in the ini to deploy it, and then you can grapple any vehicle you want. Once everything is complete, press the same key again while in the vehicle to reset it.

I looked into recoloring the rope and I can't seem to figure out how to do it, if I even can. Maybe I could do a tangled rope around the wheel somehow but I'm not sure

Hey! Just a little request regarding modelling and lighting, two requests really. Firstly can you make it so that when you catch a wheel the model of the grappler changes to the one without ropes? And secondly shadows, I use some visual addons, most notably NVE and I noticed the grappler is causing a fair bit of shadows from the headlights. Could you make it so that the grappler model doesn't generate shadows from headlights as an option or is that something you can't do within this addon?

Ive considered changing to the no ropes model after grappling a vehicle, I might make it a ini option in a future update. The shadows I cant do anything about though, its just how the model is, it needs some form of collision which causes shadows

I gotta say this mod is freaking awsome man the majority of the the times i had many high speed pursuits there always bound to be some major mess made by the ai's (both cops and civilians) and i always tried my best to either do P.I.T's or wait for the the ai's to get stuckbut using this grappler mod i can now make short work of the pursuits thanks man keep up the cool mods i put a pic below that was my first pursuit involving the grappler

Is this broken with the new update? Fresh installed grappler 3 times and it freezes my game when loading plugins each time. When uninstalled all my other plugins work.

As far as I'm aware it works fine, it might be something with your game

This mod is awesome! Only thing is it needs to have its own spawning and configuration menu. As much modding as I do, something has my rage trainer sometimes crashing LSPDFR. It would be nice if this had its own menu, like Enhance native trainer, Addon Spawner, etc just to aviod using the rage trainer. But other than that this mod needs to be elevated to the MUST HAVE or ESSENTIAL downloads menu on this site!
