Some antivirus flag this file - we have manually checked it to confirm it is safe.

First attempt at making a non-callout plugin 💀. Idk how useful this is, but hopefully it stops backup units from killing suspects before they can surrender. This also works for pursuits. 

 

Default Keybind: H (you can change it in the ini file)

If you want to play the animation, you need to enable it in the ini.  

Use this plugin with Ultimate Backup or your lspdfr will crash. 

Either download UltimateBackup or don't use my plugin. I have tested gameplay with default lspdfr backup and they don't even shoot at suspects, therefore it makes no sense to use this plugin if you don't have UltimateBackup. 

 

You may need to press it more than once, but it should work as long as the suspect isn't actively shooting at you.

 

File gets flagged as a threat/virus: It's a false positive, you can temporarily disable your AV and download, then re-enable it

You can see that when I press H (also the key for headlights) the cop stops shooting.

Windows Defender will false flag anything it doesn't recognize - just add your GTA V directory as an exception and it should stop all the false flags.

If it detects a virus disable your AV momentarily and open the file and as long is it isn't a .exe it should be fine just be cautious with exe files as they could install malware.

Hey, this plugin looks amazing. I have no possibility right now to test it out, but I want to inquire you about the animation on your picture, does it comes with the plugin or there is no animation if my character on foot?

There's no animation with the plugin, but I can add it if you want the animation.

    yes, if you can, please add the animation of the tactical hand signal for hold fire, looks cool... I don't know how good you are at programming but maybe you can improve the AI of the officers so that they overtake the suspect during a foot chase and don't just drive after him.

    Just added the animation, you can enable it in the ini. I can try to do that second part, but no guarantees.

    Works good but cant use any key except H or else LSPDFR crashes

    I just tested it with a different key and it worked. Even if you use an unsupported key, it will use H by default without crashing.

    it works now and it only detected a vrius happy to try this.

    This plugin is crashing LSPDFR.   Defaulted to H key.   If I change the key,  same thing.  I am on an older version of GTA version 3028,  so not sure if you have tested this on older versions or not.

    I have the same issue every time I press the H key it crashes, even if I try another key same thing. However I am also on the most recent version and still does it.

    You don't wrap your Ultimate Backup API in a wrapper, so anyone that does not have it installed will crash.
