Addon Vehicle Files Added.

     -Feel free to change the vehicles to whatever police slot you'd like!

Final Update Part 1 (On Hold)

-This will contain 3 of the 5 vehicles being released. This is due to time constraints on my end.

 

IMPORTANT

-There are now 2 DLC folders, you will need to delete the old SheriffPack from your game files.

     -SheriffPack (Contains vehicles with Red-Blue variations)

     -SheriffPackBlue (Contains vehicles with Blue-Blue variations)

I like the packs but they're way to detailed for my game. When I play with these packs my fps drops off to like 40 -45 fps sometimes even in the 30's. When i don't use them i get like 75-80 fps no problem. Theyre nice but cant use.

No its ok, I love your vehicles, i Still use them from time to time, but would be cool to get a little more FPS friendly. Theyre reslly good for being free versions.

    You can do it yourself pretty easily. Open OpenIV navagite to the dlc pack which is found in (GTA V>mods>update>x64>dlcpacks>LSPDPack). Then go to (dlc.rpf>x64>vehicles.rpf) Next rename what cars you want so say for instance I want 15tahoepolice as police 3, im gonna find all the files named 15tahoepolice and rename them to police 3 it would look like this (police3.yft) (police3_hi.yft) (police3.ytd). And then go into your Gta v main directory go to (ELS>Pack_defualt) and find the els file for 15tahoepolice and rename it to police3. After that when you load in game that car should spawn.

     

    If you incounter issues with it flipping or the handeling is just bad go back into OpenIV and go to (mods>update>update.rpf>common>data>levels>gta5>) then scroll till you see vehicles.meta right click on it and click edit mode. Next click the search button on the top left of it and serach for the desired car, so in this case it would be (police3) Now where it says (<handlingId>police3</handlingId>) earse it so it looks like this (<handlingId></handlingId>) and then replace the empty space with another car (ill leave a link showing the best cars to use) So for a tahoe it would be Baller2, so I put that in there. It will look like this (<handlingId>Baller2</handlingId>). Then just click save and your good to go!

     

    Also a couple of his cars have issues with lights floating when you look at them from a distance to fix this all you need to do is go into your Gta v directory find your els.ini file open in and find these 3. and replace them with what I have down below.

    LodCoronaInitDistance = 1000.0

    ElsMaxRangePl = 5000
    ElsMaxRangeAi = 5000

    I have a problem where I can get the cars but I cant get the sirens to work I have used ESL but it didnt do anything I just need help to get the sirens to work

    I was able to figure it out, so the emergency lights just were all jacked up soo i installed SSLA and that kept booting me out of the game so im just out of luck.

    No SSLA has a issue with els right now that crashes the game when you activate the sirens to fix this what you need to do is turn off compatibilty mode for gta v to do this.

    • Right click GTAV.exe and PlayGTAV.exe
    • Select Properties
    • Select the Compatibility tab
    • Uncheck the box next to "Run this program in compatibility mode for:"

    Do you have the new advance hook for els installed? if you go to els download its the first one at the top called. (AdvancedHookV_b3258.zip). 

    Download that if you dont and put it into your gta v main directory.

    If it is still not working make sure we are talking about the same issue first. What im reffering to is when you activate your lights it instantly crashes your game. If that is the same issue then I would reccomend first deleting everything to do with els and siren setting limit adjuster. You can keep the els.xml files by just simply putting them into a different folder. Next download ELS FIRST with the advance hook as well. And then open your game and make sure els is working fine alone. After you have confirmed it is working fine alone install SSLA and make sure both comaptibilites are turned off.

    Yeah that’s my issue,  it’s ok, to much work just for this pack, your the best for helping I really appreciate it, I was working at this all day so I’m done trying lol, thank your though seriously

    Well the only problem is no matter what car you install, its not gonna work with siren setting limit adjuster still installed. So you have to delete that out no matter what, its not just the pack. I would highly reccomend you just try reinstalling them, Gta v modding can be really dumb sometimes and just need a new download in order to fix issues. But it is up to you. You are gonna have to remove siren setting limit adjuster though for sure in order to not have crashes. And its no problem!
