Welcome to LSPDFR Expanded! A plugin to enhance off- and on duty realism and roleplay.

 

LSPDFR Expanded aims to offer a great addition to your every day patrol by adding lots of realism and roleplaying features both for your on-duty and off-duty activities. You'll start as a Rookie who barely makes enough money to keep his fridge filled. With every day on duty you will slowly gain experience and rise up the ranks of the LSPD.

 

After your shift is done, grab your vehicle you bought at the store to the nearest supermarket and grab some food before you starve. Maybe get a new tattoo or haircut along the way? With LSPDFR Expanded you can do it all. Your created character really becomes YOUR character

I develop mods in my freetime and playtest them to the best of my abilities before I release them. Of course some bugs might slip through but I will do my best to fix them.

  1. After loading ingame, open the Rage Console (standard F4) and type "ForceDuty" to fully load the plugin.

 

  • To go on duty, enter any police department via the Red Circle. This will take you inside the custom PD. There, you can stamp in to start working.

  • To go off duty, just stamp out at the same location. DO NOT press the vanilla "Go off duty" button, as this will unload the plugin.

New:

  • Heavily reworked the dialogue system for future use

  • Added new Vice Callout "Crack House Raid"

    -> This callout sends you to a location of a known crackhouse. Your job is to arrest or neutralise of all suspects located in and around the premises. The potential ways to enter the house are marked below, however I advise you to try and find them yourself ingame.

Ways to enter (the entries are randomized every call, so some might not be available in your specific call)

1. Shoot at the satellite dish to make a suspect come out. Arrest or search his body to find a key

2. Damage the dealer's vehicle to make him come out. Arrest or search his body to find a key

3. Dead body somewhere around the house. Search him for the key

4. Drop teargas into the vent on the roof. This will evacuate the house

  • Added new Phone Interaction Menu

    -> The Phone can be interacted with by pressing CTRL + P at the same time. (Can be changed in the .ini file as usual)

    -> To avoid any issues, the Phone Menu is disabled inside interiors. It will only work when you are outside.

  • Added Taxi Services to the Phone

    -> This calls a taxi to your current location. This is a cheap alternative if you don't have the money to buy a car or don't feel like walking.

  • Added Pizza Delivery Services to the Phone

    -> This calls a pizza delivery to your current location. This is an alternative to driving to a restaurant/driving to buy food.

  • Added Mechanic Services to the Phone

    -> This calls a mechanic to your current location and repairs your current/last vehicle. Make sure you have enough money to afford the repair.

  • Added Remote Duty to the Phone

    -> This will place you on duty for 10 minutes. Useful if you witness a crime while being off duty.

  • Added ability to add new Police Station entries

  • -> You can now add your own entrances within Expanded. To do this, head towards -> plugins/lspdfr/lspdfrexpanded/CustomStations/StationEntries.xml (If you don't see this file, start the game and go on duty, it will automatically generate the file)
    -> If you do not specify a Camera Location, the game will automatically skip the entry cutscene.

  • Added ability to add new Vehicles to the Vehicle store

  • -> You can now add your own vehicles within Expanded. To do this, head towards -> plugins/lspdfr/lspdfrexpanded/CustomVehicles/CustomVehicles.xml (If you don't see this file, start the game and go on duty, it will automatically generate the file)

  • Added option to select shift length

  • -> When going on duty, you can now select how long you want your shift to last. The options are as following: 10m, 20m, 30m, 1h, 1h30m, 2h. If you don't think that's enough, feel free to let me know.

  • Swapped out the old Clock-In Machine with a new Keycard reader

  • Changed the clocking in/out animation to a better looking one

  • Improved Policing Redefined Support

  • -> You can now enter the PD while grabbing a Ped. Be aware that the Ped will be uncuffed after entering. There currently is a bug within PolicingRedefined that doesn't allow me to put Peds into cuffs again. If they fix that, I will update it to make the Ped cuffed.

  • Added Processing Room

  • -> This will allow you to take pictures of Suspects for the Database. The Room can be found near the Garage entry. To take a photo, place the suspect infront of the wall panel and press the button near the computer.

  • Reworked Weapon Locker Room

  • -> To accomodate the new Processing Room, the Weapon Locker Room has received a new layout.

  • Added option to Deposit Weapons at the Weapon Locker

  • Added new Animations when interacting with the Weapon Locker

  • Reworked Locker Room

  • -> The old Locker Room looked weird and more like an old unused storage room. I've rework it to actually look like a proper Locker Room.

  • 'Fixed' PD not working when trying to enter the PD while having a ped grabbed using PolicingRedefined by deleting the ped

  • -> Currently it's not possible to change the suspects position while it's grabbed. If an update comes out for PolicingRedefined that fixes this issue, I will reimplement it properly

  • Fixed minor typos in the Nightclub Drugging Callout

  • Fixed various chair flickering when interacting with them inside the PD. They will now play the animations smoothly

  • Fixed issue that caused most interiors to not load when having Main.DisableMultiplayerMap set to true. The plugin will now load the MultiplayerMap regardless of this setting

  • Added full Compulite support to the 'Write Report' function inside the PD.

  • -> When creating Arrest Reports / Citations inside Compulite, they will now be tracked properly and you can write reports for these on the Computer inside the PD to earn extra XP

  • Added Option to either manually or automatically 'Write Reports'

  • -> Automatically: This will behave like before. You automatically gain XP for all available Reports and complete them automatically without further input

  • -> Manually: If you have available Reports that were created using Compulite, you can now manually write a detailed Report for those cases. This is synced with Compulite. The next time you start the game, you can view your written report inside Compulite as well.

  • Added ability to join a Special Unit.

  • -> Once you've reached a certain rank, you can now apply for a Special Unit on the Computer. This is just a preview feature for the upcoming Version 1.2.0. Special Units will grant access to certain Unit-specific callouts, missions and will grant unique rewards upon completion.

  • Added Nightclub Callout.

  • -> This is a Vice Squad specific Callout that will only appear when you've joined the Vice Squad Unit. Just like before, this is just a preview of what's coming with the 1.2.0 Update.

  • Added support for Policing Redefined.

  • Added option to sell your vehicle at the tuning store.

  • When starting a new save, you now start with a Faggio inside your garage.

  • Added option to spawn your private vehicle inside the PD Garage.

  • Tuning stores now repair your vehicle on entering the store

  • Tuning your vehicle now costs money for each part you upgrade

 

Bugfixes:

  • Fixed bug that would cause the game to remain in a loading screen when trying to enter the PD and not every object required was able to spawn

  • Bottom Dollar Bounty insignias will now be removed from the PD when playing with mods like 'Open All Interiors'

  • Fixed bug that would cause multiple menus to overlay each other when interacting with the cardealer after buying a vehicle

  • Added option to sleep in bed when using the new interiors.

  • -> Since not every bed is the same and some have another default orientation (primarily the bunk beds), the animation may not fit 100% everytime depending on the bed you placed. It works best with the double beds

  • Sleeping in the bed now manually saves the game in addition to all previous effects

 

Bugfixes:

  • Fixed bug that caused the game to crash when trying to remove furniture after leaving the interior and re-entering again

Prerequisite:

To get the new Interiors / the entire new design Update to work properly, you need to have "mp2025_01" in your dlclist and the corresponding folder in your mods folder.

 

New:

  • Added new furniture store near Sandy Shores called "Hofnarr's Furnitorium".

  • -> This store sells all kinds of furniture from TV's, chairs, shelfs, tables, decoration and so on. Once bought, you have to deliver it to the red marker located near your house. Once you started the game, a new file called "Furniture.xml" will be created inside the LSPDFRExpanded folder. Here you can change prices or add new furniture if you aren't happy with the current selection.

  • Added ability to decorate your house.

  • -> This goes hand in hand with the new furniture store. Your bought and delivered furniture will be stored inside your apartment. You can select it via the new menu options from your Entrancedoor. This allows you to place any furniture you bought freely. You can remove any furniture you don't like anymore at any time. If you decide to move houses, all your furniture will reset (you wont get refunded!, but the furniture is quite cheap so it isn't a hard punishment).

  • Added two new interiors based on Price and Location of the apartment.

 

Bugfixes:

  • Fixed bug that caused the player to get stuck when drinking coffee

  • Fixed bug that sometimes caused the game to crash when using the Fuelsystem

  • Fixed bug that caused the game to crash when selecting or removing furniture with the mouse instead of the keyboard

  • Fixed bug that sometimes caused the player to get stuck in the interior after buying clothing

  • Fixed bug that made the player warp out of the interior if the player  went ForceDuty inside a vehicle

  • Added Fuel System

  • -> Each Vehicle that runs on fuel will now properly consume fuel when driving. If no fuel is left in the tank, the engine will stop working. Vehicles can be refueled at any gas station on the map. Note: Police Vehicles can be refueled for free, refueling civilian vehicles costs money.

  • -> The fuel system can be customized with the following new options within the .ini file:

  • EnableFuelSystem (default = true) - This will either turn on or off the fuel consumption and any gas stations around the map

  • FuelConsumptionMultiplier (default = 1) - At which rate the fuel will be consumed when driving. If you feel it is too slow, feel free to increase this value

  • Added new Notification that displays how many items you delivered into evidence

 

Changes:

  • Changed Hunger and Thirst System to only change every 20 minutes (Was 10 minutes before)

  • Lowered the amount that Hunger and Thirst change every 20 minutes

  • Changed Vehicle Selection so that it closes instantly when no livery/extra was available for that vehicle instead of opening an empty menu

  • The Wardrobe Menu will now display a notification when it's being accessed without having any EUPOutfits setup in EUP Menu

  • Removed old .ini setting "DisableGasStations". This is now bundled with the new setting "EnableFuelSystem"

  • Added Evidence System

  • -> Whenever you search a ped or vehicle, all found contraband will automatically be added to your inventory. You can deliver the contraband to the Evidence Storage inside the PD to gain XP

  • Added Jail System

  • -> You can now lock grabbed peds in the jailcell inside the PD. This will award you XP per arrest. Additionally, you can also write reports on those arrest on your personal computer to gain even more extra XP

  • Added Front Desk Duty

  • -> When sitting at the frontdesk, you now have the option to handle incoming peds. Those peds will tell you why they need to speak to an officer. You can refuse and sent them home or allow them to enter the offices. Choosing the correct answer will provide you with a small amount of XP per ped

  • Fixed bug that awarded the wrong amount of XP for pullover reports

  • Fixed bug that caused a floating ped on the couch in the PD's breakroom

  • Expanded the police station with two new areas

  • -> These areas are just cosmetic for now but will be used in the full version. They include a dog kennel and an evidence storage, both located in the garage section

  • Added new Vehicle Customization when spawning a police vehicle in the garage

  • -> You can now change your livery and enable/disable vehicle extras when spawning the vehicle

  • Added new Vehicle preview when selecting your vehicle from the garage

  • -> You can now store up to 10 amounts of each item on your character, so you can have a snack, drink etc. on the go.

  • -> To access  your Inventory, you can press CTRL + I (Can be changed in the .ini file)

  • -> To put items into your inventory, visit any fridge, hower over the selected item and press the "F" key (The key is also displayed at the bottom right when the Fridge Menu is open)

  • Added Thirst and Hunger Overcharge

  • -> What is Overcharge? Overcharge grants a buff to your total Basic Needs. If you are overcharged, you are becoming way less thirsty/hungry every 10 minutes. However, if you overdo it, the Overcharge system also gives you penalties

  • -> Thirst: To gain Thirst Overcharge, you have to drink alcoholic beverages. If you overcharge too much, your character becomes drunk with increasing effects the more you drink.

  • -> Hunger: You (theoretically) gain Hunger Overcharge by eating Cooked Food. If you eat too much, your character will become full and uncomfortable, resulting in a much slower movement and sprinting speed. Theoretically, because cooking itself isn't implement yet.

  • -> You can get completly rid of Overcharge by either sleeping in the bed inside your apartment or slowly by smoking cigarettes

  • Added buyable apartments

  • -> Several properties are now available for sale all throughout San Andreas. You can find them marked by a red house symbol on the map. You can buy those at the nearby Sale Sign that is close to the respective house.

  • Added new ways to gain XP

  • -> You will now gain 50 XP per completed traffic stop and 25 XP per issued and handed over Citation (if you use PoliceMenu 1.4.0)

  • -> You can gain additional XP at your Computer by writing reports on both traffic stops and citations

  • Added new accessable Fridge inside the Police Department

  • -> The fridge inside the breakroom (close to the TV and coffeetable) can now be accessed. It shares the same inventory as your apartment fridge.

  • Added Current Rank, XP and Money to Wellbeing menu

  • Added new Police Station entrance at the Airport

  • Added several Peds to the Police Station to make it feel more alive

  • Added new eating/drinking animations to difference between foodgroups

 

Changes:

  • Adjusted Apartment Vehicle spawns to be closer on the street rather than in the middle

  • The Player will now attempt to look at the ClockIn Machine before using it

With this update, I now consider LSPDFR Expanded to be in BETA state, only a few more updates until I'm happy with a proper V1 🙂

 

  • Added BasicNeeds System

  • -> The BasicNeeds System (Called Wellbeing ingame) adds a Thirst and Hunger system. Every 10min of ingame time, you will loose Thirst and Hunger until the bar reaches zero, which will cause your Character to get a massive debuff to their health. This effect stacks for both bars, so if you are hungry and thirsty at the same time, you will basically be as fragile as glass.

  • -> To check your current Hunger and Thirst, you can press CTRL + H (Can be changed in the .ini file)

  • -> The BasicNeeds System can be disabled in the .ini file if you prefer to play without it.

  • -> Added DriveThru

  • -> To accomodate for the new Wellbeing, you can now buy food via the Up n' Atom Drive Thru located near Vinewood. There is only a single DriveThru in San Andreas (blame Rockstar not me). The Drive Thru is only accessible in a vehicle, they won't take your order when on foot.

  • -> Added FastFood restaurants

  • -> Since there is only one DriveThru in the entire State, several restaurants are now open and happy to take your order. Unlike Convenient Stores, the food you buy is used immediately and can't be stored in the fridge.

  • -> These restaurants feature a new interior. Once you enter a restaurant, it might take a couple of seconds to load properly. So don't be scared if the blackscreen takes a little longer than usual.

  • Added ability to eat from Fridge

  • -> Since the Wellbeing system is now implemented, almost all foods and drinks stored in your fridge are now ready to be consumed.

  • -> Notice: If you already had food/drinks in your fridge before this update, you will need to atleast buy 1 more of each item for their Thirst and Hunger stats to update. Otherwise they will give 0 and will basically just be wasted.

 

Changes:

  • Shoppingbags will now properly disappear when entering a vehicle to ensure that it doesn't glitch through the windshield

 

Bugfixes:

  • The minimap will no longer show the outside area when inside the Police Department

  • -> You can now interact with the computer inside the Police Department to interact with certain elements, such as:

  • -> Writing reports

  • -> After a completed callout, you can now write a report at your computer. This will reward an additional 100 XP per callout.

  • -> You can request special callouts that focus on story and roleplaying. Those callouts will reward more XP than your normal callouts you receive via the radio. Notice: Since it takes a lot of time to focus on these callouts, this feature is not available until a later version.

  • Edited the interior to make it look like a proper police station

  • -> Reception: Peds will wait or talk to the officer at the front desk. You can also take the role of the receptionist via the chair behind the desk.

  • -> Main Office: Added fellow officers and chairs. You can sit and work at your desk. Later on, you are also able to write reports on your completed callouts or help citizens which will result in extra XP.

  • Added enterable interior to all vanilla police stations

  • -> All police stations can now be entered by stepping inside the red marker infront of the entry and pressing the Interaction Key. The stations are mostly empty as off now but this will be changed nad become more interactable / dynamic in the future.

  • Added Clock-In system

  • -> The system is located near the locker room. Step into the red circle to clock in and start earning money. Clock out again to go off duty.

  • -> In the designated area inside the locker room you can now equip your uniform or change into your civilian clothes. The uniforms itself are the same ones you use with EUP Menu.   • Added toggleable dynamic weather and time of day on first loadup

how do i go off duty? because when i tried doing what u said which is ''dont press off duty '' and just go in and go out the police station to go off duty but my character can still stop the ped and call for back up so its consider not off duty is it a bug or thats how it is?

Yes, that's the same for me. Although I leave work in the red circle, LSPFR is still running, so I'm still on duty there. But with LSPFR (if I've understood correctly) I can't leave work, because otherwise "LSPDFR Expanded" will be deactivated and my purchases etc. won't work.

Yep. YOu can only clock in and out. If you actually go offduty via LSPDFR, my plugin would deactivate, causing stores, money, saves etc. to not work anymore. Callouts are disabled when you clock out, so only things like stopping peds etc. would remain active.

 

And yes the mod is still being worked on, however I'm heavily occupied with private stuff at the moment, so I haven't had the chancee to work on it just yet.

I just have one problem: the car dealer is closed all the time (both doors and garage) and i cant enter it. besides that everything works normal (shops/clothing/station). yes i am "on duty".

 

Appreciate any help.

Mhm weird. Can you send me a screenshot of where you trying to enter just to make sure you are using the correct doors?

 

I'm guessing you have the MP map enabled right? As in, you don't fall through the floor when entering the PD

From your screenshots, the second picture is the correct entrance (the one by the street). 

 

Can you see the cardealer inside the store or is the NPC also missing?

 

My only guess would be that maybe another mod is overwriting the door so that it stays closed.

 

Just for testing wise, could you try disabling all other LSPDFR except Expanded and RageNativeUI and see if the doors open this time?

Yes i see an NPC standing at the desk looking at me weird why im not coming inside *JK*. But yes he/she is there.

 

I really only know the basics of LSPDFR modding. i did however deleted everything in the plugins/LSPDFR folder except the LSPDFR Folder itself*, LSPD First Response.dll and LSPD First Response.pdb. *inside LSPDFR Folder > LSPDFRExpanded, LSPDFRExpanded.dll, LSPDFRExpanded.ini and RAGENativeUI.dll. After that i typed in the console "reload all plugins" and it didnt worked. so i restarted the game and it also didnt work.

 

IMPORTANT:

BUT!!!! i did teleport inside the building after figuring out how to do it (TeleportToPosition -56.09 -1090.68 25.15) and i can buy Vehicles. So only problem is the door wont open. Not even from the inside :D. Everything else seems to work. 👍

Yes i see an NPC standing at the desk looking at me weird why im not coming inside *JK*. But yes he/she is there.

 

I really only know the basics of LSPDFR modding. i did however deleted everything in the plugins/LSPDFR folder except the LSPDFR Folder itself*, LSPD First Response.dll and LSPD First Response.pdb. *inside LSPDFR Folder > LSPDFRExpanded, LSPDFRExpanded.dll, LSPDFRExpanded.ini and RAGENativeUI.dll. After that i typed in the console "reload all plugins" and it didnt worked. so i restarted the game and it also didnt work.

 

IMPORTANT:

BUT!!!! i did teleport inside the building after figuring out how to do it (TeleportToPosition -56.09 -1090.68 -30.15) and i can buy Vehicles. So only problem is the door wont open. Not even from the inside :D. Everything else seems to work. 👍

The last time I tested it on my end, it worked perfectly but maybe an update switched the doors or whatever, atleast I haven't received other reports about those doors not opening. For now you can atleast use the teleport option to access the carshop.

 

Once I get home I'll verify that it still works on my end

@DerHofnarr So I was  able to check how it looks for me. Both entry doors are interactable  and the garage door is open as well.

 

The only thing I could think that are causing this:

 

  1. You have an .asi script running that somehow interferes with the Carstore, or
  2. Your Singleplayer Story progress wants to overrule me loading a different interior for the store.

You can try the following:

Temporarily delete ScripthookV in the main GTA directory and run the game without any other DLL mods except NativeUI and Expanded. If that doesn't work, download a 100% savefile for GTA5, install it and try to run the game again.

Ich würde gerne weitere Standorte hinzufügen (also den roten Kreis), da ich dies auch für das LSPDFR getan habe und gerne das ein oder andere Poster in der Wache austauschen (evtl. sogar möglich eine zweite Wache hinzufügen), geht das? Gerne kann ich mit anpacken, da es ja immer zeitintensiv ist?

 

Vielen DANK für die schöne Weihnachtsdeko mit Tannenbaum und Musik – sehr sehr geil!

Turns out i hadnt ScriptHookV installed because i guess i thought "it is outdated so dont install it". After installing ScripthookV the cardealership is open! 😄

when i press Y to enter the station i'm still falling through the ground and can't do anything. happens since the last 2 versions. sadly can't use this plugin anymore.

Make sure in your lspdfr ini that this setting here "Main.DisableMultiplayerMap" is set to false. Also you need to atleast run a Gameversion where the Bottom Dollar Bounties DLC is enabled

Being able to add custom entry points (or even just reading the ones setup in LSPDFR) is on my list. However changing posters is not. Simply because there aren't any more police related posters. You could change the texture of the existing one somewhere in the game files if you really wanted.

setting is false and i'm always playing on the newest version as soon as shv is ready for it. never ever had this problem with previous versons of your mod and settings haven't changed.

@RicyVasco Just for the next update: the included RNUI (v1.9.2) is outdated now (v1.9.3 was released a few days ago).

There is nothing that I can really help you with then. The interior itself is always loaded if you play on the newest version and have the MP map enabled, it doesn't require anything coding wise to load. The fact that it doesn't load for you would signal me that something is prevent it from loading or the corresponding DLC is disabled.

 

You can try the following:

1. Disable your entire mods folder (rename from mods to .mods)

2. Disable each and every plugin (yes even LSPDFR)

3. Install ScripthookV and download a trainer that allows you to teleport to any interior (Menyoo, NativeTrainer etc)

4. Teleport to Bottom Dollar bounty Interior or alternatively to this location: 565.887, -2688.762, -50.000)

 

Be sure you have a mod like Open All Interiors installed when trying this to ensure the MP map is loaded as if xiu try to teleport it using the coordinates.

 

If that works, you know the culprit is either in your modded gamefiles, or its a conflicting mod with LSPDFR

Ahhh gotcha,  I didn't see this in the "Requirements" in your description.  Spent the last hour trying to figure it out.   There are a good amount of LSPDFR players that will be on older game versions, so this would be good to point out in your description.  Thanks

Didn't know this was a thing either since I always download the latest version and everything works fine for me. I read that in the comments

When i clock in first it says i have clocked in, but a second after that it says i clocked out. I dont know how to fix this

Are you perhaps pressing Y twice? Under normal circumstances this shouldn't be possible since it waits until the animation is complete before taking inputs again but that's the only thing I could imagine happening
