Indicator Script 1.0

(70 reviews)

1 Screenshot

Features:

- left/right indicator

- hazard indicators

- permanent lighted indicators (like position markers)

- key config via ini-file

Planned in future:

- flash indicators just while pressing a defined key (for now just toggling available)

- add this mysterious ticking noise when indicators are on (coming from the indicator relais in real life^^)

Anything missing? Just leave a comment...

(for keys look at the included read me!)

Recommended other mods:

- TBoGT Vehicle Lights Fix ( http://www.gtagarage...ow.php?id=14536 )

-> this will correct most of the problems with the vehicle's lights like indicators not flashing etc. - thanks to sam for pointing that out :)

For Some reason it doesn't work. I've tried everything to get it to work but not work. I have no clue why. I also get no error message either, which means I have no proof of it not working. I think it just doesn't want to work.

MY SPECS:

Windows 7

5.00 GB ram

10.24 GB memory

Grand Theft Auto IV Single player

Rated: 1/10

Finally got it to work just had to change my config file's name to "indicator" instead of "indicator.ini". Here's my config indicator.ini. It should change itself when you load up your files.

You have to paste into GTA IV /Scripts folder.

PS - it doesn't work for me, either :(.. It used to work FLAWLESSLY.. it is easily the BEST script for GTA. But after reinstalling Windows 7, it doesn't.

It's gotta do with DOT.NET FX, Runtimes, or Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 or something??

It's a great and essential script for GTA iv lcpdfr. Ironic one of the best scripts for GTA iv was made by a guest and not a member.

Yeah, I think someone left the site, and/or someone did something a bit weird to their account.

One of the greatest important scripts for GTA IV was made by a guest. Hope you reveal yourself someday.

This no longer works properly on older versions let alone that one

Downgrade your game to 1.0.4.0 or to 1.0.7.0 using the downgrade tool (It does it all for you piece of cake, From then on launch the game from the playgtaiv.exe (or launchgtaiv.exe instead of the gtaiv.exe or steam/rockstar launcher

from there on out there's a range of scripts that'll work for you, Arrest warrant, ELS, LCPDFR, Fuel mod

I'm on 1.0.7.0 and all of the mods I want now work

Bottom line is you cant mod gta4 anymore without putting in time and effort and backing the entire game up

Its unlikely anyone will release updated mods because of the blatant lack of compatibility with the new versions, As far as I know, This mod is an ASI, You need a valid asi loader in your game and most of the decent working asi loaders are for older downgraded versions

I spent a while waiting for mods on the newer updates of gta4 but realized it'll likely never happen dude, If you want mods, Downgrading is a must.
