Regular Callouts

Welcome back to Regular Callouts! This pack may be familiar to veteran players as it was formerly one of the Top 10 most downloaded Callout packs on LSPDFR.

 

This callout pack offers a total of 23 diverse calls, including everyday scenarios, exciting and challenging special cases, as well as three Callouts inspired by LA Noire. Most calls have numerous spawn locations throughout the entire map, ensuring a unique experience every time.

 

This was my first attempt at creating Callouts and coding in general. As I gained more experience, I made expansions and tried new things with each call. However, I was unsatisfied with how I coded the earlier callouts and did not want to rework every previous one. Instead, I focused on entirely new projects. Nevertheless, letting this pack sit on my PC would be a waste, and perhaps new developers can still learn a few things. That is why I have made this pack open-source.

 

I have made minor updates to ensure that the callouts work on the current LSPDFR version. However, I have not made any bug fixes since the last release of the Callout pack. If you encounter any bugs, please report them, and I will work on resolving them.

How to install:

Place the RegularCallouts.ini and RegularCallouts.dll inside ".../plugins/LSPDFR/" folder.

 

Keybinds:

Every key used by this pack can be changed in the RegularCallouts.ini settings.

By default the following keys are used:

 

  • DialogKey=Y
  • InteractionKey=X
  • EndCalloutKey=End

Fake Call:

  1. Fixed player getting stuck and being unable to move, softlocking the game.

  2. Added additional coding to prevent player from being stuck if the NPC doesn't attack the player correctly

 

Accident on Highway:

  1. Removed maximum distance check. This should fix most of the unintended "Code 4" messages. This message will still display if the player is too close to the spawnpoint (Roughly 150m).

  2. Added log that tracks the distance if the player is too close to the spawnpoint, thus triggering a "Code 4" message.

Bugs.

When I installed it, menu options scrolled by 2 with 1 button press, and then when I did the fake call callout, it froze me in place while a person kept punching me. When I used the Trainer to get out, he was godded.

Open source software is code that is designed to be publicly accessible. Anyone can see, modify, and distribute the code as they see fit. If there are conditions placed upon it, it isn't open source. You should probably find a license that better suits your conditions.

can you add  a audio dispatch   responding to one of the calls,, for example  Lincoln 18  start for a  possible robbery in progress . i show you in rout  .  rp say the description are 2 males one wearing  a red shirt the 2nd male  is wearing a  black one 😉 lol must be hard to make  a audio.... maybe one day

In callout ''Traffic Accident on the Highway'' when I call using ''Callouts manager'' after accepting the callout it pops up code 4 I tried four times and nothing.             

 

Second error: in ''Fake/Prank Call''
at one point my character cannot move (walking and running in place

 

third error: in callout ''Vehicle broken down''
when after two unsuccessful repairs the car is about to be picked up by a tow truck suddenly both the driver and passenger freeze up and the car is not hooked up to the tow truck when I tried to force the callout to end using STP it crashed lspdfr

 

Unfortunately I can't send the logs because they are over 4KB in size

There seems to be a weird bug happening with the callout "Missing Person" and StopThePed coroner.

 

As soon as the coroner put the body of the driver in the body bag, LSPDFR crashes.

That's because the dead person is vital to the callout, removing the body also removes an important option to progress the callout.

 

Since there is no way for me to block STP from taking away the body, the only solution os to just don't let the coroners pick it up until after the call is done.

Getting a consistent crash on the Search Warrant - Mirror Park (Bedroom) callout. Had it crash twice on me. One after accepting it and heading about halfway there. The second time, after the owner tried to attack me, I shot them, then proceeded to leave. Crashed when I tried leaving the home.

The Robbery in Progress call needs some work. I responded to the call and requested backup on arrival. Upon entering, I followed the dialogue which prompted the security footage to play. In the footage, it shows the suspect enter the store and the shopkeeper shoot the suspect however as backup arrive they open fire on the shopkeeper and the callout crashes. I get the concept but it does not consider the fact that AI will fire at the shopkeeper if he fires at the suspect as part of the video footage.

Thats simply because I can't control anything created by another plugin. If you spawn backup, I can't despawn them

I understand that, but it might be better to have the option to disable the CCTV footage as whatever happens in the footage is of course live and not really a recording therefore the peds will interact as they would normally. Perhaps there is a way to prevent anyone from entering the shop while the scene takes place?

Lmao, lmfao, you umm, you don't activate them in the rph launcher. They are loaded automatically, the plugins folder where your plugins are, they will show in the launcher. I can tell you're new at this.

On the latest version: Missing Person call makes the little ID/photo of the victim get stuck to my characters hand with no way to remove it.

i've always had a lot of fun with this callout pack and it was always in my top3 most wanted. i was still playing the old version without any issues but i'm glad you brought it back. thx!

Callouts available looks great but it will be amazing if we can play these callout without a LSPDFR shut down or a total crash of the game. ALL your callouts I tried made my game to shut down or crash... I'll probably remove your pack until a new update is available. I'm using the latest version (V1.1.7) of your callout pack
