Information:

Hey ya'll.

I promised myself I'd try to get out some more public packs, and March was one of the targets, and it seems I'm on time for once. 😅

Originally this start out as a personal pack, then a mini-pack was made for Patreon, and well, now we're here with 14 cars (I added some additional cars for the public release).

This is a Blaine County Sheriff pack, I got the idea after playing around with Tacoma's police logo, and originally had come up with this design for LS Port Authority, but it seems to fit as a Sheriff design much better. Lighting style is based off Atlantic City police, where the used a similar lighting setup there. I combined the two together and well, I liked the outcome.

THIS PACK HAS TWO OPTIONS!

1) Non-DLC (Replace Only): A pick and choose pack. You will need to name the vehicles into the slots you want to use.

2) DLC (Addon & Replace): The DLC will replace the vanilla police slots and add the rest of the vehicles as addons.

Flashing lights
Each vehicle has 4 liveries, changeable in using a trainer.

Variety of lighting colours and lightbar tints (e.g. clear lightbar, blue tint to go with blue lighting).
Toggleable ALPRs through a trainer (extra_ten)

These vehicles are not made to the specification of any specific department. Please don't comment on it being inaccurate or whatever. It's not meant to be accurate.

I will not be providing support in installing these files. All the info is in the ReadMe.

DO NOT USE the review system for reporting installation issues, issues already reported, or for anything other than review.

the only other problem im having and cant find a fix for is the lightbar on the Tahoe is just blacked out and doesn't work other than that i love this pack great work

Did you try the fix suggested in the FAQ Troubleshooting (i. e editing the diffuseTint value in vehicle.meta to 0x00FFFFFF)?

Tahoe's lightbar is blacked out. Tried standard methods to correct with no luck. Any ideas?

Actually, I did run into the same issue. For some odd reason the Tahoe has a black lightbar even after editing meta file (can be fixed in-game with a trainer though).

I'm starting to think that maybe at some point something got messed up in my meta files. (Almost every pack I use, the Tahoe models are problematic, spawning in with lots of dirt, black windows/lightbars etc.) Maybe it's the same case for others.. no idea what could be causing it though.

About the trainer, if someone's interested, I'd recommend Menyoo (others don't seem to work as flawlessy, for me at least).

is it too much to ask to add white takedown lights for the slicktop units? only tried impala so far.

Also for anyone having a problem with handling on impala, use police3 for handling id

For some reason the rotors on the cvpi dont work properly but on the tahoe they do. Any suggestions? im loving this pack

So I'm running into an issue that I have tried to solve but have been unable. For Sheriff5 and Sheriff5st, the alpr's will not spawn. Every other vehicle, including Sheriff6, they spawn without any problems. Fixing the vehicle does nothing, and I haven't changed anything in the meta other than the handling line. I'm at a complete loss, so any help would be much appreciated.

Check to make sure I haven’t been an idiot and not set the extra for the ALPR to ‘true’ in the ELS VCF file

Remind me which vehicle that slot is again

In the ELS file the alpr extra says: "<Extra10 IsElsControlled="false" />" which is the same as all the other cars. Sheriff5 and Sheriff5st are both 2014 tahoes. What's strange is that on Sheriff6, which is also a 2014 tahoe but with rotators, the alprs work fine. Something I should have mentioned is that the alprs actually appear for a split second when I first spawn the vehicle, but then disappear.

Edit: I have also tried disabling all my other DLC packs incase something was interfering and have tried a fresh install of the pack, both of which had no effect.

hey! so all of the spawn names in this pack are coming up as the exact same thing, so i cant tell which vehicle is which. any way to fix?

Hey Jed. Since the update, for some reason, some of the vehicles have big giant balls of light around them that block everything? Could it be because I've had to delete SSLA?

I don't know why, but the lightbar of the 2020 Tahoe doesn't work. And yes, it's the third level of ELS

I know I'm late, but it looks like a tint issue, mate. try opening your trainer (I use simple trainer so your mileage may vary on this next part), going to Vehicle Options --> Vehicle Mod Menu and I believe window tint is one of the options.
