Hello everyone! Wow, finally updating the description on this pack is hard to do, because mostly I don't know what to put anymore. I want to start with by saying thank you for over 50k downloads, this pack has come a very long way from the start, and even further away from the very first release for FHP, which I would have to agree myself, it was wildly inaccurate, but this new pack is the most accurate it's ever been, which help from my friend echooo who is a Florida native, and who helped push me to get these things as close to the real life counterparts as possible. And now I am finally releasing LORE skins for this pack, which is a first ever for me. My time working on this pack, has also helped me new friends in the dev community, such as Skys, and Jank who I have both worked with to make FHP not only better and more compatible with his pack, but to also release new things, I probably wouldn't have ever made.

 

Guys! It's finally done! after 3 years of work, I am finally pushing out the final release to FHP, the full release. While I say final release, it the final release for any major changes, every update after this will just be visual updates, and fixes to things that might still be broken, the pack was tested heavily before release, so every car should be good to go. Everything after this update will just introduce fixes to lighting, livery updates for both real & lore ( if I remember to do lore liveries ), and so on. I am so happy to finally have this done. I've been working on it for over 3 years, and have put close to around $400 into the pack to make it the best I can. 

I want to think everyone who has worked with me on the pack, to improve it and make it better. I also want to think everyone who tested it, and helped report major issues so they could be fixed, and I also want to thank my good friend @Echooo who not only put his own money into this project, but spent a lot of his own time, helping with the lighting, getting as close to real life as possible, thank you man!

I have big plans for the future of car development, including canceling old projects that I was going to work on, and only focusing on fresh new stuff, things I have never worked on before, I hope to see everyone on my next release! < Also is you want to learn more about this, you can join my discord, and I have it listed in there!

I recommend everyone download this mod, it goes great with the pack, and @Pavy was nice enough to take his time and make this, it sure does go a long way and makes this pack even better that now you can see what your driving before you even spawn it! 

Do be warned though, some images may not reflect changes made to cars since this pack is still currently in the beta stages.

What's New in Version 2.0

Released

Guys! FHP 2.0 is finally done! after 3 years of stress, being burnt out, and major work, I am finally pushing out the final release to FHP, the full release. While I say final release, it the final release for any major changes, every update after this will just be visual updates, and fixes to things that might still be broken, the pack was tested heavily before release, so every car should be good to go. How do we know which car is which? Can we get a list? It's not practical to flip through 50 vehicles to find 1.

A list will be developed eventually. I am also going through the testing phase of naming the cars, instead of having them numbered. It work's and doesn't work at the same time

Hey Mate, I've tried installing your pack, followed all the instructions you provided and after the R* loading screens before you select Singleplayer etc. it crashes on a black screen, if I turn off your pack it works fine, Its the only car pack I have installed, nothing else is installed and it keeps crashing

I really like this pack, vehicles are well done with the exception of the SUV's especially the FPIU's and it may be very well on my side but the FPIU's disappear at a very short distance away all you see is wheels, driver and lights etc floating in the air, does anyone else have this issue and if so did you fix it and how?

Hey so you need to install these for the pack.
Install Gameconfig by going to Mods/Update/Update.rpf/Common/Data and drag + drop gameconfig.xml into it. https://www.gta5-mods.com/misc/gta-5-gameconfig-300-cars Install Heap-Limit-Adjuster by dragging and dropping GTAV.HeapAdjuster.asi into your Main GTA directory. https://www.gta5-mods.com/tools/heapadjuster Install Packfile-Limit-Adjuster by dragging and dropping it into your Main GTA directory. https://www.gta5-mods.com/tools/packfile-limit-adjuster

The SUV's the Explorers in particular are not a very good base model, and there for are some issues with them. I want to eventually have them replaced with a much better model, but it will take some time for that.

Thank you for sending this. The cars with rotated lights or steady lights, I don't have any carcols in for those yet, hopefully by next update I will have at least a temporary one in place so the car can be used. As for the vehicles with the missing liveries. If you are using a graphics mod such as NVE, or quant v, sometimes the liveries don't load in from the +hi dictionary. A temporary fix for that would be to take the texture out of the +hi file, and put it in the low .ytd file. I am glad you love the pack, and hope you have fun patrolling around in it!

What a beautiful pack this is! I had tried others and they just weren’t settling for me till i saw how many cars you have added and the attention to details! ❤️ I have just a few issues with some units not spawning in. It’s not a lot it’s really only like 3 or 4 but I’m not bugging about it. I recommend anyone getting this one. 
 

bonus; dev added pics so you can put ‘em into you addon spawner. Don’t know how to do it yet but thank you for that 🙏🏻🔥

This is probably a known issue, or just an issue to me. But some vehicles disappear at a VERY close distance, as in 10-15 feet. I'm aware of how to fix this, and currently am, adjusting lodDistances, but its a very tedious task, perhaps you should look into this? I believe one of the vehicles which disappear is the fhp36 and fhp37. Note: the vehicles which are affected are the FHP36-FHP43. When looking at the vehicle files in openiv, the regular yft's are unusually small, while the _hi are much larger, perhaps this may be the cause of the issue? The regular yft's actually appear invisible in openiv as a matter of fact.

The ones you are most likely referring to are the ford explorer's. The base model used is of very low quality, and I am working on getting a replacement as soon as I can. However in the mean time, I am also looking into fixing this issue for the short term. If you believe you know a way to fix it, please send me a DM on here, or you can contact me on discord.

small suggestion to maybe give "FHP7A" which is the whelen CVPI without pushbar to give it the Shark fin antenna like in the picture below, just to kinda be closer to the real life counterpart, not entirely neccesary but i like creating my Units based on real units lol

I've been working on one, but it is very difficult to get it to look like the real life one, eventually all the cars that use it will have it.

Currently, only my Chicago Police Pack will be going full non-els, as that pack will be utilizing DLSv2 when it's released to the public.
