Features

Optional Equipment

Installation

  • Replaces the sheriff2 slot.
  • This is a ELS/non-ELS hybrid vehicle which means it requires custom carcols/carvariations for the emergency lights to work properly.
  • The custom vehicles.meta is absolutely required otherwise the lightbar and dials will be incorrect.
  • Step by step instructions are included in the download.

why would you make a DLC that replaces sheriff2? why not just do a replace ? seems like an extra step

Well, it's an extra step for me to package it into a DLC. For you it's easier to install because you don't have to individually replace the carcols and carvariations files.

    I am not a fan of the idea of making a fleet of vehicles with the same lightbar and exact same setup/lighting pattern etc. It feels very repetitive and isn't really fun to make (or play with). Not to mention that, at least in my area, departments don't just stick with one lightbar for all their vehicles.

     

    My BCSO vehicles are mostly inspired by the San Mateo County Sheriff where they use Valor for the new FPIUs but Code 3 21TR and 2100 for their FPIS and CVPIs. More BCSO vehicles are planned but like I said the setup is going to vary a bit.

    Love the model. But why are the side pushbumper lights not showing only a color dot and the same with the back of the light bar. Any ideas why?

    The carcols are not working. Did you use the DLC and follow all the installation instructions? I can't think of any other reasons outside of what's already mentioned in the instructions on top of my head.

    I won't be able to repackage my vehicles, sorry. You can try downloading my FPIS add-on pack from here and see how the files are structured. It's something that's hard to describe but quite easy to do.

    Do i place the DLC in the GTA5 folder or in OpenIV?

    Ok in regards to my above complaint, I have realized that I didn't put the dlclist line for <Item>dlcpacks:/sheriff2/</Item>. Ooops. Now it runs perfect. Love the model man! Keep up the great work!

    I just need to say how pleasing it is to see someone carrying the torch of beautiful, high-quality releases. With so many folks looking to get into development either for the money or for other reasons, KLEO's keeping it real with these stunning executions of realistic concepts. Keep it up dude.

    Yup, that's what the livery and setups are mostly based off of. Though, I took some creative liberty on the lighting.

    I have a problem with the lights. The front have of the vehicle's lights work fine, but the back half of them are not on for some reason. Anyone know why this is? I put in the right vehicle meta as well.

    I got it working! beautiful vehicle, five stars for sure. I just had to move the DLC line up in the list to override another vehicle that was already in the DLC list above it.

    i dunno what happened, light stage 1/2 are fine but 3 is messed up. I did installed meta file. Was it due to livery file, 4K, so I switch from DXT1 to DXT5 ??

    I think I'll wait until you release a sedan version too, so the sheriff vehicles match.

    Love the FS Valors though! You totally mastered the flash patterns you should use them on more vehicles!
