with all due respect, i know hospitals have armed guards but why would they need vehicles?

around me the security uses vehicles to go around to the doctors offices and rehabs also owned by the hospital

ahh its difrent in Scotland. thare is armed guards but thay dont have cars. is the security a government law enforcement agency.
