[Spotlight/Hybrid] Transit Police CVPI 1.0.0

(6 reviews)

12 Screenshots

Remember to follow the file in the top right corner. Additional vehicles will be added to THIS download and not separately.

A 2011 Ford Crown Victoria used by the Los Santos Transit Authority or Transit Police. The Los Santos Transit Police is the nations largest Transit Police Agency, rivaled only by the NYPD and LCPD.

Spotlight Mod Compatibility

This vehicle as many many functions, the biggest of which is the compatibility to the Spotlight Mod by alexguirre. This allows the spotlight to be rotated in game. This is not required to use the model but drastically improves the in-game experience. Additional features are in the ReadMe and in the posted screenshots. This is the first car im aware of to be released publicly with this function.

Hybrid Lighting (ELS and Non-ELS)

This vehicle uses hybrid lighting. This means it uses both ELS and Non-ELS to create a realistic lighting setup. It is extremely encouraged to use the included ELS.xml file. The xlm is also set up to properly imitate the Tomar Scorpions chaotic flash pattern. Altering the file may yield weird results as the two depend on each other. In addition, the vehicle is 'equipped' with a rear cutoff in stage 1.

Moveable MDC

The MDC has the function to open and close by using NUMPAD 5 and NUMPAD 8. No additional mods required for this function.

LoJack (Extra 10)

Extra 10 is a toggable LoJack and accompanying system on the console.

Easy Installation (Add On)

Option 1 (LML)

Included in the Download and by selecting the option on the side.

Option 2 (OpenIV Package Installer)

Also included in the download, simply run the installer.

Please install the ELS.xml file (transitcvpi.xml) into your ELS folder.

If you encounter any install issues, please message Chief1234 or comment below.

Reflection wise it doesn't change much. Big change is the patterns and settings I used to be made for this car and the....hybridness of it.

any chance you can make red and blue reflecions on both sides of the car instead of just one color reflecting on any xml like the non els cars do where each light on the car has its own reflections?

With the way the car is set up not very easy to do. The pattern on the Scorpion is very complex and diverse, hence why I used ELS Scan over non els. I could make more reflections but they wouldn't correspond to anything. Right now I have a standard red blue split using ELS on the car and non els controlling the smaller lighting. I have more transit cars in the works that use different bars that are more non els heavy.

Could always change the skin ¯\_(ツ)_/¯, that's partially why I didn't make reflective skins. Makes it easier on the end user. Plus, you right there's not a lot of Transit stuff.

Yeah I could change it, but i really like your design/concept on this pack. If i changed it, then I would be doing a dishonor on this transit pack! will you be adding it as a dlc/add on tho?

I can respect that. If your talking about the car, yes it is a dlc/Addon. Works completely by itself and easy to install using OpenIV’s package installer. If your talking about reflective skins, maybe later.

For the LML install, you need to put the VCF inside an "ELS" folder, to have LML auto move the VCF to the pack_default folder.

This is pretty epic. Would love to see more with this functionality. Wish extras 789 were amber TA lights but hell, this thing is beast regardless.

Thanks for the info! I wasn't sure how to do that so I just added it in to be manually moved. I should have an update coming here soon and ill rectify it then.

Thanks! Unfortunately the way I like things set up it doesn't allow for TA easily. I may have a dedicated vehicle or two with a TA but don't count on it lol.

how do I turn on spotlight on vehicle ?

Spotlight is controlled via the Spotlight Mod which I linked in various places. Once you download that I believe the default button is 'I' but you can set it to whatever you want.

Installation is at bottom of download description. Its either just a LML download if you have it, or an OpenIV package installer. Then just drop the els.xml in your els folder with the rest of the them.

Yükleme, indirme açıklamasının altındadır. Bu sadece varsa bir LML indirmesi veya bir OpenIV paket yükleyicisi. Ardından, els.xml dosyasını geri kalanlarıyla els klasörünüze bırakın.

do i have to download els?

Yes the vehicle is a hybrid which means it uses both ELS and Non-ELS to create the lighting. The vehicle will technically work without ELS but almost all the lights wont work and it will look like garbage. If you choose to use it without ELS, I'm not able to provide support though as it kind of goes against the purpose of the car as a hybrid.

Thank you... I won't download it because it crashed els

It crashed ELS? I'm not sure that's possible in a vehicle model. But either way, if you don't want to download it more power to you.

1 dakika önce, Chief1234 şunları söyledi:

ELS mi çöktü? Bunun yerine bir araç modelinde mümkün değildir emin değilim. Ama her iki durumda da, boyut daha fazla güç indirmek isteminizde.

Yes els is crashin. ı will download a non-els vehicle thx
