[EUP] Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Uniform Pack 1.4.0

(2 reviews)

14 Screenshots

For all the Ontario, Canada players out there looking to add some more realism to their LSPDFR experience!  These are some Ontario Provincial Police (O.P.P.) uniform textures for EUP.  Uniform components include hats, shirts, pants, and vests.  I created these uniforms for my own enjoyment but have had several requests for a download link, so here they are!  Are they a perfect representation of OPP uniforms? No - but they're the best we can get with the standard EUP clothing models and they still make the game more fun.

OIV installation file now included for easy installation as its own DLC pack!

Choose between black or dark navy blue uniforms.

There are many types of uniforms included:

1) Front-line Officer short-sleeve & long-sleeve uniforms

2) Commissioned Officer (white long-sleeve shirt & tie with vest) - available on the Male model only

3) Commissioner (white long-sleeve shirt & tie, no vest, with epaulettes)

4) Motorcycle Uniform

5) Bicycle Uniform

6) Marine Uniform (not accurate - but the best I could get with the base EUP models)

7) Auxiliary Uniform

Be sure to 'Follow' this download so that you receive notifications when updates are posted!

IMPORTANT - these texture files will overwrite some of the default EUP textures, so it may "break" some of the default EUP uniforms (they will look weird).  As always, please back up any files before modifying them!

What is included in the download?

1) Two OIV installation files: 1 each for black and dark navy blue uniforms - you pick which one to install.  Dark navy blue is more accurate, but black looks really good!

2) LSPDFR outfits.xml file so that you can easily enable AI officers to use your new OPP uniforms (you must edit your own agency.xml and backup.xml files)

3) EUP Menu wardrobe.ini file so that you can easily dress your own character in your new OPP uniforms

*** PLEASE DO NOT MODIFY OR RE-UPLOAD ANYWHERE OR TAKE CREDIT FOR THIS WORK! ***

In order to use these uniforms, you will need to have EUP Law & Order 8.1 installed.

NOTE: These uniforms do not work with the recently-released EUP 8.2 update.  I will try to update this pack for the latest EUP version when I can.

For now, you will need to find an older download of the EUP 8.1 (hint: search on YouTube).

This works well with some of my other OPP downloads available...

Thanks for the compliment!  I have really enjoyed making these.  Adds a lot of fun to the game for those of us from Ontario.

Any way I could get the files without the OIV installer? I would like to place these guys in the sheriff and other slots myself.

Two ways you can do this:

1) Rename the .oiv to a .zip extension, then extract the *.rpf files and explore them with OpenIV.  Then you can extract whatever files you want.

OR

2) Install the oiv, then explore the DLC pack with OpenIV and extract what you want.  Then you can delete components of the dlc pack (for example, a *.ytd file) and EUP will go back to using the original.  Because it's an addon (DLC pack) installation, it's very easy to disable/uninstall and revert back to the default EUP - either partially or fully.  That's why I designed it this way.

Oh perfect! Thanks for the tutorial 🙂

Go into your GTA V directory and then lspdfr/data subfolder.  Open the agency.xml file, copy one of the other agencies (like LSPD) and change the values to OPP.  For the Peds part of the agency, use the values found in the provided outfits.xml file.

Once your agency file is edited, you'll need to use the "ScriptName" value from the agency file and put that into the backup.xml file.

Here's what my agency file looks like for one of my agencies: (note: you'll have to change the vehicle values to match yours, such as police3, sheriff2, etc.)

Sorry to bother again, but do I change every single agency's short name & script name to opp/O.P.P? Regarding adding variations to officers (sergeant, long sleeve & commissioned officer) is that done automatically, or must I add that in agency as well?

In the Agency.xml file, you only change one of them (or add a totally new agency with that script name).  In the Backup.xml file you can change as many as you want.

For the variations in the Agency.xml, if you just use outfit="opp_officer" then it will pick a random variation.  However, if you want the Loadout ped to have a specific variation you can for example use outfit="opp_officer.m_ofc_3" to select a male Sergeant.

Does this replace the BCSO Uniforms or LSPD?

I believe it's kind of a random mixture.  It is an addon install though, so it's very easy to remove/disable if you try it out and want to remove it afterwards.

Having some trouble with the textures on the outfits. Im not sure If its one of my other mods that is causing the issue but I dont think so since these are the only custom EUP uniforms I have downloaded. If anyone is able to help it would be greatly appreciated, I also have all of the EUP stuff installed correctly from what I have used of the vanilla stuff so far so.

The developers of EUP made significant changes to EUP with the recent 8.2 version release and this has broken most customizations.  I recommend that you find an older download of EUP 8.1 (hint: search YouTube) for these uniforms to work until I have a chance to update this pack for EUP 8.2.

You say to use values found in the provided .xml file, but the "outfit="opp_officer.m_base" part is COMPLETELY different to the "m_base" in the actual xml file you're talking about. Am I missing something?

P.S Same for the texture dictionary as well. Yours says dia police but there's nothing that says to change it from the web_lossantospolicedept

Alright. I got everything working doing my own tweaking and skimming tutorials, but when I installed the wardrobe.xml stuff, the tops seem fucked up. It's this long jacket that isn't tucked in and the textures are screwed up on it. Whiteshirt works fine except for the shoulder patch being weirdly warped, regular uniform works fine when the top is change, but the rest is screwed because of the shirt. Any ideas why?

Can you send a screenshot?  And you're using EUP version 8.1, correct?

Sorry for the extremely late reply, haven't been on this forum in a while. Yes, I was using the incorrect version of EUP.
