I was watching LivePD for like 6 hours yesterday and decided to make lore friendly location and incident overlays for my YouTube videos for shits and giggles. I included blank templates so you can edit them in your favorite program. I also put in the #LSPDFR logo like the overlay in the upper left of the TV show. They are all PNG's so the backgrounds are transparent. Examples are in the screen shots. Enjoy!

What's New in Version 2.0

Released

At the request of a user I have decided to add a few more things to this "pack". When the TV show switches locations they have an extremely fast transition of asphalt with flashing lights and the location they are going to. I have included 4, it DOESN'T inclue the random blocks wipe like the show because I'm not connecting 2 scenes together. Abobe Premiere Pro doesn't have anything like it so you may have better luck than I did depending on your editing program. I also made a few "Earlier In" overlays that go in the upper right hand corner of your screen.  Now you should be all set to recreate the TV show with your gameplay. If you record a video, or stream, you can overlay these in editing to make the video more immersive and similar to the style of LivePD. These can't be implemented directly into the game 🙂

    You're welcome! If you need to make more to fit your videos I just used Arial Black font. Not sure if that's what the show uses but it what it looks like.

    This is actually what I was searching for when I found this upload. I'll definitely be checking this one out, and I'd be very interested in the transitions if you're still considering the project :)
