RCMP Vehicle pack [Non-ELS] 1.0.1

(0 reviews)

18 Screenshots

Apologies to anyone that had already download this pack. I had some older/incorrect ytd files included so textures were all sorts of messed up. They should be fixed now though!

My first pack made and released!

RCMP vehicle pack that I made for myself and friends for a FiveM server we play on. All the vehicles have multiple liveries, reflective liveries (optional), custom carcols, GTA plates that can be customized, plates that always spawn as exempt, and working alley lights! (Emergency lights will need to be on for the alley lights to work however)

Vehicles include:

- CVPI

- FPIS

- Charger

- FPIU

- 2015 Tahoe

- 2014 Tahoe

- Silverado

All vehicles have the following extras:

Extra1 - Lightbar

Extra2 - Visor lights

Extra3 - Rambar with speakers

Extra4 - Left alley light

Extra5 - Right alley light

Extra6 - ALPRs

Extra7 (Truck only) - Equipment in bed of truck

You will likely need to change some of the handling lines that the vehicles use as I have them set up to a modified handling meta that is in our server, that is not mine so I cannot release it with these vehicles!

The alley lights are shown in the last 2 pics. As they are part of the lightbar, if you do not have the lightbar toggled on (Extra1) then the alley lights will not work.

Download includes 2 versions of the vehicles; reflective and non reflective. I wanted people here to be able to use the reflective versions if they wanted, but didnt want to take away from anyone that may want to change the liveries on the vehicles.

I started learning how to make non-els vehicles over a year ago when there wasnt many available for free online, and now of course there is a bunch released. These vehicles (as well as my 5 other vehicle packs that will be released in the next few days) are made for myself and friends but I wanted to release them so people can use all or some of the vehicles in their servers too if they want. With that in mind, these are not designed to be 100% accurate to please anyone here.

I have spend a HUGE amount of my time learning to do all this, making around 40 vehicles along with their edited custom files and liveries, and testing it all in game. As far as I can tell these vehicles should be working properly, but if you do encounter any bugs or issues please let me know in the comments so I can get them fixed as soon as possible.

Feel free to use all the vehicles, 1 of the vehicles, or whatever, in your servers.

This is not to be uploaded to any other site or re-released without my permission

Enjoy!

Wow. Sorry, I think this is 100% my dumbass error for mixing up some older ytd files for the reflective versions. Replacing them now and testing in my server and then I'll get it reuploaded properly

Ok, files should have the correct textures now. I even downloaded the link and replaced all the reflective rcmp vehicles I already had in my server with the reflective ones in this newer download and they seem to all look ok, and reflectives working on all of them

(I havent double checked the non-reflective textures in my server and I need to work in the morning. Ill double check those tomorrow, or if anyone leaves a common showing an issue with them ill get it fixed when I'm done work. Thanks)

Pack looks good! One request however, could you make an ELS version of this pack?

Once I'm done putting the packs together for all the non-ELS vehicles I currently have, and fix any bugs people mention, I'll look into making some ELS versions of all the vehicles. It'll probably be a month or so before I get started on it though

can your pack work for singleplayer

Its set up for FiveM servers. They could technically be used in singleplayer/lspdfr but it would take some work on the files to have them set up as either replacements or addon vehicles. People are welcome to do that themselves if they want, but unfortunately I'm not going to spend the time doing it. Once I have my fire/rescue pack uploaded I'm going to work on ELS versions for LSPDFR

I would also love to see ELS version, i can't find any good RCMP packs that fit on my vehicles.

When I start on the ELS vehicles, I'll start with the RCMP pack first

Very cool, finally a non-els pack with the silverado I can really use. Since the alley lights are extras, is there a way to change the carcols so they won´t light up? I don´t like them because they always turn on with the siren lights. I use it in SP as replace but couldn´t figure out which specific line to change....

Yeah, if you change the flash value to false, that should turn them off I believe. I copy and pasted part of a carcol below and highlight in green the part so you can see roughly where its located for each siren and vehicle. You'll have to do it for each alley light. Let me know if that doesnt work.

I only took a quick look, but it looks like the alley lights for each vehicles are as follows:

Siren 19 and 20 = CVPI,  Charger, FPIU,

Siren 15 and 16 = FPIS, 2015 Tahoe, 2014 Tahoe, Silverado

<intensity value="50.00000000"/>
            <size value="0.60000000"/>
            <pull value="0.00000001"/>
            <faceCamera value="false"/>
          </corona>
          <color value="0xFFFFFFFF"/>                         (0xFFFFFFFF means the corona is white, so you can tell if you have the right corona/siren in case what I listed above is wrong)
          <intensity value="10.00000000"/>
          <lightGroup value="1"/>
          <rotate value="false"/>
          <scale value="true"/>
          <scaleFactor value="10"/>
          <flash value="true"/>                                          Just change this to show ... <flash value="false"/>
          <light value="true"/>
          <spotLight value="true"/>
          <castShadows value="false"/>

Yep, that worked. Thank you very much. It has also a bit too much environmental lighting but I guess I can live with that. 🙂

This is freakin awesome! 👍

Well, these 2 lines below have something to do with the environmental reflections although I dont know enough about them to tell you what to set them at, or what/how they effect it exactly. You could try changing the numbers a bit and seeing how it is in game through trial and error. And those are at the top of each vehicles carcol settings and control all the sirens for that vehicle

 <lightFalloffMax value="160.00000000"/>
 <lightFalloffExponent value="80.00000000"/>

Or if you wanted to go with the longer route, you could change the number in this highlighted line below instead. This one you would need to change for each siren however. This value determines how intense the light given off from that specific siren/corona is. Thats why the red and blues I have set at 3.00000000, but the yellow lights I have set at 1.00000000, so that the yellow reflections aren't too overwhelming over the red and blue reflections. You could also set it lower than 1.00000000 if that still too much for you, something like 0.80000000. Again it might be some trial and error until you have it how you want it

 <color value="0xFFFF0000"/>
          <intensity value="3.00000000"/>
          <lightGroup value="0"/>
          <rotate value="false"/>
          <scale value="true"/>

🤔 hm

maybe I´ll give it a try. Good to gain some more knowledge about this especially when only using non-els.

Thanks man!

I noticed a bug on the silverado. When opening the passenger door it kinda detaches when opening. It comes a bit out and then opens. Might be a model issue you cannot really do something about but I thought I just report. Car will be in my game anyway because it´s the only non-els I can use. And of course because it´s cool!

Took a few minutes but I was able to convert the cars I want for single player use. Thanks for releasing this!

@Gary. If you don't mind my asking, how did you go about converting the files? I've made multiple attempts and I always end up with non-functional lights, game crashes, or both.

@Fhsig13

it´s not that complicated than it might look.

1. locate the car files you want and simply replace the car you want (e.g. Police2 with rcmp7)

that´s the easiest part - now the more complicated

2. look into the carvariation data and see, what sirensetting rcmp7 is using (e.g. 700)

3. open carcols.meta and search for the sirensetting id 700 - mark everything related to this id and copy it.

4. open YOUR carcols.ymt with "edit" - go to the section "sirens" - add it (layout must be the exact same, as the others from beginning phrase to end phrase / sometimes it won´t work, no matter what you do, dunno why, some non-els codes are not correct and it takes hours to locate the mistake)

I recommend copying only from "id value" till the last "cast shadows". the phrases before and after the other id values should be copied directly from the carcols.ymt directory.

e.g.

rename the siren id 700 to 100

scroll between end of id 10 and beginning of id 11

the last line of 10 is something like: item, item, siren, item / or whatever then id 11 starts

make a gap after these 4 lines

add the siren id 100 into this gap

the last line of 100 should be the cast shadows line

copy the line item, item, siren, item

add it to the end of 100 after cast shadows

leave no gaps after adding and save

you can also add it to the end with a number you like, e.g. the last sirensetting is 15 I think. Then go to the end and add 16.

BUT: the last 4-line phrase is different than the 4-line phrases between so keep that in mind !!!!!

5. open the carvariations and look for the files of rcmp7 - copy it

6. add it to the carvariation you are using for the rest of your vehicles (e.g. mpchristmas2) - rename rcmp7 to police2

This layout should also be the same as the others

7. Same goes with the vehicles.meta (but replace the phrases of police2 do not add rcmp7)

If you have only one phrase incorrect the game will crash at the start. I recommend searching for tutorials if you haven´t done this before.

It took a while for me to explore how everything works together but with some practise you will get used to it. Or stick with ELS, then its a lot easier.

Hope, I could help with this...

Gary.

I had bugs CVPI installed for my sheriff slot. In his DLC pack for the cvpi he has a carcols.meta and carvariations in there.

so I simply  removed the original lines from his carcols and carvariations. I added in the lines for the cars I wanted to use.

Then I went to the vehicles.meta and replaced my sheriff and sheriff2 slots

but one thing to note, in the vehicles.meta they have assigned different audiohashes to the car. For example the taurus had the Cheval Fugile or whatever so my sirens weren't working. Simple fix was simply putting <audioNameHash>Police3</audioNameHash>

Love the LODs,the lights the reflective decals and extras

I have found one issue - some of your vehicles do not have breakable glass? when you shoot nothing shows and you can pop tires through the glass idk if anyone else reported this to you but amazing cars that is the only fault i see.

It seems some are unbreakable in all your packs.

Let me know if its something that might be just on my end or if someone else is having this issue.

Thanks
