About

Automatic Siren Cutout is a plugin created primarily for ELS users. This script will automatically turn off your sirens while keeping your emergency lights on when you get out of emergency vehicles. Be advised, this will not work if you use your mouse to exit your vehicle or toggle your lights. Keyboard or controller only.

Included Features

Friendly Honk: A fun little feature that makes other emergency vehicles honk their horn or blip their siren at you if you honk or blip your siren at them.
Traffic Light Control: Turn traffic lights green as you approach intersections with stage 3 lighting enabled. This does not affect AI traffic.
Traffic Yielding AI will drive around your vehicle when you are stopped with stage 3 lighting on.

Wow, thanks for the next and maybe best update? And again one plugin less, which Rage has to load^^ It's getting less and less with me and that's good. I only have five left now.

Is there a way to have the other features but not the siren cutoff because I like the realism of having your siren stay on when you exit but I like the other parts of the mod

You can change the settings in the .ini file.

so your files say that it should go to gta5 folder/plugins/LSPDFR for these versions but the older ones where just in the plugins folder wich doesn't work anymore but this path doesn't work either i tried both. so where do we need to put it to make it work cuz none of these 2 options works?

i used it for 7 months or so in the plugins folder without problems so i'm really mindf*cked here xD

Seems the new update has caused backup on a traffic stop to pull up behind the player's vehicle then pull away and drive a few feet then pop back behind the player's vehicle.

I had a huge sense of relief once I saw how the traffic start to go around my vehicle instead of IN to it.

My game crashes when RPH tries to load up with the new version of this plugin. It was fine with 3.1.2, any ideas? Log is attached.

One of the best mods to come along. Sometimes someone makes one of those mods that has always got to be installed with every version of the game, and this is one of those! It adds to the immersion in the game. GREAT work! Also, I have a low end PC and have not seen any issues with this add on, but I only use the green light changer as I do not use ELS and don't need the siren cutout feature. ELS is more demanding than this mod in my humble opinion, just look at your Rage log to see for yourself. 🚔

just happened recently but cutout is no longer working for me. the only thing that ive installed recently was some new car packs. i double checked the xml settings and keys to make sure nothing was changed and everything is set as it was instructed to be set. Has anyone else had this issue?

Me too! It just stopped working recently, I haven't tested it on a clean game to determine if its another script/plugin causing the issue. I'll do that soon and let you know.
