About

Automatic Siren Cutout is a plugin created primarily for ELS users.  This script will automatically turn off your sirens while keeping your emergency lights on when you get out of emergency vehicles.  Be advised, this will not work if you use your mouse to exit your vehicle or toggle your lights.  Keyboard or controller only.

 

Included Features

  • Friendly Honk:  A fun little feature that makes other emergency vehicles honk their horn or blip their siren at you if you honk or blip your siren at them.
  • Traffic Light Control:  Turn traffic lights green as you approach intersections with stage 3 lighting enabled.  This does not affect AI traffic.
  • Traffic Yielding  AI will drive around your vehicle when you are stopped with stage 3 lighting on.

Crashes in the Epic Launcher based GTAV/LSPDFR setup when game is loading, is this an interface issue. Really love this mod, is it going to be updated for Epic users?

I can't properly address this issue without seeing the crash log.

Will the crash log display in the native trainer screen when I enter LSPDF and press F4 or does it register a crash log  because it failed to load. If so where do I locate that log so I can send you a copy?

Great mod, I love the vehicle yield feature especially - however there is one issue with it. Say I park my vehicle at a 30-45 degree angle into the road(eg to set up a traffic accident scene) instead of facing parallel to it(traffic stop) to try and make the AI vehicles go around the accident scene. For some reason it's just impossible for them to figure it out and I end up with a traffic jam. I've noticed they try and steer right too early(as if they have passed me and are turning back into the lane but they're still behind my vehicle), so would it be possible to say increase the radius of when the AI vehicle's begin to turn back into the lane to allow for me to setup traffic accident scenes? Not sure if that would fix it and make them all pass me when parked at 45 degrees or if it would mess up with oncoming traffic but the steering right too early is one of the main things I've noticed.

Thanks for the comment.  Unfortunately, working with the  GTA AI isn't easy, and they will always do dumb things.  Have you tried using my new plugin, Scene Manager?

Anyone care to help, please?  Im having a issue, I've set my lights and sirens to my mouse thumb buttons (5&6, felt better that way for me when I play), i've also went into the ini file and did the same thing for ASC, but the sirens are still on. Am I doing something wrong?

My exit vehicle is my 5th mouse button and i do the key bind in multiple different ways but it wont work how do i fix that.

I can't seem to get this to work at all.  The install and everything seems to be correct.  I did change up the siren and horn keys but reverted them back to default and that didn't fix it.  Little tricky because the ELS ini has numbers referenced for their keys so I have to cross check.  In ELS ini I have traffic control set to false when default is true.  Could that be why this isn't working for me?  I can upload screen shots of my install path and side by side of your ini and ELS ini.  if you need to see that.   I seem to be the only one that this isn't working for.  I get out of the vehicle, code 3 and siren still blares.  When I cycle to stage 3 I have to manually turn on my siren and I don't remember how to change that.  I've had it like that for so long.  I think by default the siren automatically turns on at stage 3 but mine doesn't.  Could that be why?

hey mate having issues with this since going to the 2.8 everytime i load my game your mod crashes

I noticed that a lot of times if I am running code 3 and I get stuck behind a car, it despawns that car right in front of me. Is this intended or is something else going on? This happened a couple of times. Thanks.

i disabled the yield feature, that should probably fix it. but i am asking if there is an update to the yield option crashing the game.

I won't update anything until people provide me with the necessary information which would allow me to fix the problems they claim to have.

Idk how to explain it further, other than the mod will crash when the yield option is set to true. If the yield option is set to false, the game will not crash but the mod will.

I can't do anything without seeing a RagePluginHook crash log.

Similar to topcheddar, you have not correctly installed the dependent files.  Following the installation instructions in the readme should resolve the issue.
