Description

This mod adds police vests, belts, and other equipment to GTA V.

Features

The vests fit properly with various outfits! No awkward gaps or improper sizing!

Realistic gear such as earpieces and realistic vests!

List of included vests

Installation

First, install EUP.

To use the new vests, you must install this mod too.

It is strongly recommended to back up the original files before installation!

Open the File folder.
Using OpenIV, navigate to:
Grand Theft Auto V\mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\eup\dlc.rpf\x64\eup_componentpeds.rpf
Open the corresponding folder (e.g., vest, earpiece, etc.), and place the folder (e.g., mp_m_freemode_01_mp_m_vinewood) that contains the files you want to use.
In-game, change the TASK category.
If your character’s vest (or other item) has changed to the one you installed, the installation was successful.

If installed correctly, the added folders should look like this:

Q. How do I install this mod in FiveM?
A. This mod is developed for single-player use only and has not been tested in FiveM.
Please do not ask for FiveM installation support.

Q. There is no Vinewood or MpCloth folder.
A. Simply add the folders by dragging and dropping them. They will be loaded automatically.

Q. The textures appear incorrectly.
A. This usually happens due to an installation mistake.
Reinstall the mod and make sure the texture and vest use the same ID.

Q. Can I load multiple textures?
A. Yes. If installed in the MpCloth folder, you can load up to 26 textures.
If files with the same name already exist, you may either overwrite them or rename the .ydd and .ytd files and place them accordingly.

Q. Can I install the vest in other slots, such as Accessories or Task items?
A. Yes, if you rename the files correctly, they will work.
However, slots for props like sunglasses, hats, and earrings will not work.

So, I feel silly but...I'm gonna ask...

I don't have an EUP DLC path (mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\eup) ....What am I missing? I have EUP Basic, EUP Menu, and both S&FR and L&O at the most recent versions.

I've tried to install the vests, i've only gotten 2 to show up. I have mpClothes installed also. Does anyone know where I can find and complete step 4? I believe that its the reason why I cant see the missing vests.

The sheriff textures for the juggernaut type vest are too green. Is there a more olive green texture or tan texture available like in the photo?

I love the look of the vests but I'm have some issues with them. After I downloaded the pack my game started to lag. Not so bad as to I can't play the game, but slow enough to notice. I really don't want to have to delete the vests, I was wondering if anyone knew anything I could do?

i think something else could be causing that, for me it never caused issues

I don't understand for the new install method about this because I replaced the dlc.rpf from my eup with the one given and I don't understand now. there's nothing in there for the vests.

Great mod. But, not all of the vests show up in game for me and all of the ones in "mp_m_freemode_01_mp_m_clothes_01" don't. Anyone think they could help?

so i installed hanakos eup vest and earpiece mod and now the AI spawns with helmets and the wrong vest. Is there a way to fix this i have eup configurations installed but i still have the same issue

EDIT: Figured it out.

From mpclothes mod page on GTA5Mods:

1.Paste mpclothes folder to mods\update\x64\dlcpacks
2.Open dlclist.meta in mods\update\update.rpf\common\data
3.Add dlcpacks:/mpclothes/ entry
4.Add your clothing models to the folders, following the same naming conventions as in the example.

To add glasses and hats, make a folder mp_m_freemode_01_p_mp_m_clothes_01 or mp_f_freemode_01_p_mp_f_clothes_01 and paste the files there.

Paste the clothes/vests into the clothes folder already created within.

Create the new folders mentioned above for props e.g. hats, glasses and then paste those items in.

Make sure dlcpacks:/mpclothes/ is within dlclist.meta

Launch up and you're good to go!

EDIT 2: Images below of main folder and what's contained in the clothes and props folder respectively

I don't have the eup folder in mods\update\x64\dlcpacks because I used the LML method of downloading EUP... How do I proceed? I really want to use this pack 🙂

I believe that the headset came from this deleted Escape From Tarkov clothing mod that was on gta5mods.com, but the author took it down. I'm still not sure, and the hat might be already in the game near the last clothing from the Perico dlc.
