Description

This mod adds police vests, belts, and other equipment to GTA V.

Features

The vests fit properly with various outfits! No awkward gaps or improper sizing!

Realistic gear such as earpieces and realistic vests!

List of included vests

Installation

First, install EUP.

To use the new vests, you must install this mod too.

It is strongly recommended to back up the original files before installation!

Open the File folder.
Using OpenIV, navigate to:
Grand Theft Auto V\mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\eup\dlc.rpf\x64\eup_componentpeds.rpf
Open the corresponding folder (e.g., vest, earpiece, etc.), and place the folder (e.g., mp_m_freemode_01_mp_m_vinewood) that contains the files you want to use.
In-game, change the TASK category.
If your character’s vest (or other item) has changed to the one you installed, the installation was successful.

If installed correctly, the added folders should look like this:

Q. How do I install this mod in FiveM?
A. This mod is developed for single-player use only and has not been tested in FiveM.
Please do not ask for FiveM installation support.

Q. There is no Vinewood or MpCloth folder.
A. Simply add the folders by dragging and dropping them. They will be loaded automatically.

Q. The textures appear incorrectly.
A. This usually happens due to an installation mistake.
Reinstall the mod and make sure the texture and vest use the same ID.

Q. Can I load multiple textures?
A. Yes. If installed in the MpCloth folder, you can load up to 26 textures.
If files with the same name already exist, you may either overwrite them or rename the .ydd and .ytd files and place them accordingly.

Q. Can I install the vest in other slots, such as Accessories or Task items?
A. Yes, if you rename the files correctly, they will work.
However, slots for props like sunglasses, hats, and earrings will not work.

Idk if this is just me but the patrol vest has a bit of a weird texture like the lining of the vest looks almost blue for some reason like the texture was edited but not set to the right stuff for exaple DXT5 or anything like that

I do not know is in your plans, but I believe that it would be cooler for the radio wire to be outside the vest, or it could include one version outside and one inside. Thank you for your work!

Also why not merge version 0.6.4 with 0.7 into one archive?

IMO, there is something to fix : The sides pouches.

They collide with the player arms because of their size. It really disturb my brain 🤯

You first JPC is nice. Smaller model, small right side pouch, left one is still too big, but not a huge problem on that model.

Also, maybe you could tighten the JPC a bit ? The rear of the plate carrier is not in contact with the back of the player. (with a police shirt or a T shirt)

Then you added the "little big JPC" with the two sides pouches, again, too huge, at least, in my opinion.

As always, my opinion is not everyone opinion so you're free to ignore me 😋

The JPC Swat setup isn't in the new update, just letting you know. It's the other vest in the last update.

OMG I LOVE THIS. This is completely awesome. No problems with it at all and everything is just perfect. I said to my wife that I think im gonna replace her.🤣 Could you do belt what doesn't have radio or taser...reason why is because when I use this vest pack it's so weird to see taser and radio on duty belt when you already have those on the vest...Specially I can't find any belts whitout radio. Thank you for everyting amazing work.

so I just want to clarify. Although half of these files are like addons I imagine (didn't come with anything vanilla gta offered) we just drag and drop and everything should be good? Normally this would be easy to me but I don't want to overwrite anything by mistake or have any buggy textures etc. ALso, the multi-texture like sheriff police etc, is that achievable or?

You drag the mpvinewood folder into eup that adds all new stuff. For the test jacket and earpieces those replace things. The vests are addons.

Just one question under which item list is the new simple belt and dump pouch in? Is it under accessories in the EUP menu or...?
