SuperCallouts is a plugin for LSPDFR to add more callouts. Currently adds 36 new callouts!

With SuperCallouts I aim to add more unique callouts to LSPDFR with a uniform feel. I add both realistic and crazy new calls that will be played randomly. You are also able to disable and enable any features you choose. I recommend pairing this plugin with my other plugins DeadlyWeapons and SuperEvents to completely change how the game feels.

Changes:

  • Added support for Policing Redefined.
  • Removed tipped over dump truck and stolen cleaning supplies callouts.
  • Overhauled actions for most callouts when using PR.
  • Remade the vehicle fire callout.
  • Remade the fight callout.
  • Remade the dropped call callout.
  • Remade the angry animal callout.
  • All other callouts will slowly be remade with new interactions and better immersion in mind.
  • Fixed an issue where errors are logged when ending a callout with another tool such as Grammar Police.
  • PR is strongly recommended, but not required. STP/UB and Vanilla are still fully supported.
  • HOTFIX 4.0.0.1: Fixed the crash on launch due to typing fire instead of vehiclefire when setting up callouts. Im stupid. Thanks for the reports!
  • HOTFIX 4.0.0.2: Fixed an issue related to permits with the PR API.

I've done an immense amount of work with this, not worth putting in the change log. I plan a lot more work in the future for every existing and new callout. Join my Discord to help me test new versions.

Well you can send me the RagePluginHook.log here or in my Discord and I can tell you what's wrong

Here is my RagePluginHook.log file. I noticed something reading through it myself. It has an "unhandled exception" regarding Stop The Ped when I go on duty, and it turns out that the callout pack does work, but only with a very small amount, such as the CarAccident callout. It's the same for UnitedCalliuts - none of those work. Maybe it's an issue with Stop The Ped, but I don't want to do anything in case I break something. My UltimateBackup doesn't seem to work either, I'm not sure. I hope you can find something in here.

First off, yes. Re-install StopThePed. It is missing this file:

'C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto V\Plugins\LSPDFR\StopThePed\Localization.ini'

Then as far as the callouts go I see that you have SuperCallouts and United callouts, and that they both load correctly. The problem I see is they're not registering any callouts, as if you disabled all of them via their respective .ini file.

For example the SuperCallouts.ini should look like this:

Also please attach a screenshot of your plugins folder, here is how mine looks:

Yes, I have re-installed Stop The Ped. Everything seems to be okay in the SuperCallouts.ini file, as well as UnitedCallouts. The SuperCallouts.ini file can be seen below, as well as my plugins folder. If there is anything else I need to do, please let me know.

Is it the same with Callout Manager?  Can't see the callouts in there?

Hmmm "Crazy Things"  do we just guess what the problem is?  Does your PC just get up and walk out the door for a binge drink?

I understand that the author has been working hard to fix the performance issue with the mafia callouts, but unfortunately, I still got a huge FPS drop following texture lose when responding to "Davis gang violence" and "Casino Mafia activity." Even though I'm running LSPDFR in 4K on a high-end gaming PC.

Also as for the Davis Gang Violence call, it doesn't make a lot of sense to drive across the city to meet the FIB agents, then drive back to Davis.

I remember back to 2019, the "Casino Mafia" shootout was my favorite callout from this pack; the setup was simple, the callout was straight forward, and the shootout was fun and challenging. But since the update, I've been avoiding those callouts in the city when recording, because of the performance issue. 😧

As far as texture loss and performance goes, that's just because you use vehicles / peds with extremely high poly's / textures. Regardless of your system, GTA has a set limit of memory for those things which causes texture loss.

As for the mafia1 call, the original shootout scene is identical to when I first made it, your complaint does not make sense there since it's the same. I just added the pre-scene to speak with the FIB as a proof of concept. Clearly people don't care for more detailed calls so I have not made any more like it.

Regardless, you may disable the "swat" callouts in the .ini file if they cause performance issues or you don't enjoy them.

Well there's no need to be "rude" here, I'm not forced to use your callout anyway, I'm expressing my thoughts here because I CARE about this callout since I've been using it since 2019, please don't make me change my opinion as I barely comment on any of the plugins on this site.

How does meeting the FIB agents make sence and how does it make the players more aware of the callout details, if you change their meeting point to a completely different "zone" and far away from Davis? And what's your evidence in assuming people don't care about the details? Does your sample represent the average population or is your conclusion flawed? (clearly) The driving back and forth make that callout less enjoyable.

It is true that I can disable these callouts as I already did. But do you think I have nothing to do and come here to "complain?" Do you think what I said above was a "complain" and therefore "dissatisfaction?" If that was the case I wouldn't bother to spent a couple of minutes out of my busy schedule to type out a paragraph. Besides my "tone" was flat and normal, there was no criticism. I wanted to support you by providing feedback and thoughts to make this callout "better," if possible; but if that's not what you need, I won't bother you anymore; and thanks for letting me know.

As far as I know, with all these years in the modding community, every mod developer/plugin or script coder needs public support, and please note that not all of the feedback will be in your favor.  With all that said, I will continue to use your callout and feature them in my videos on YouTube, consider that as a professional courtesy.

I wish you all the best.

Sorry if my comment came off as rude. That's the fun of text, there is no body language or tone to tell what emotion the person is conveying.

Again, texture loss may be caused by a vehicle with a too high poly count or texture resolution. Reason being is Rockstar has a set limit on their memory because they hate modders.

Your comment on the mafia1 callout confused me because you mentioned lower performance when I added the pre-scene but the actual casino section never changed, and when you arrive, it despawns the pre-scene.

By detailed callouts I mean callouts with dialogue or any story. I have had multiple people message me on Discord expressing their dislike of it and whatnot. No I do not run a detailed survey scanning an exact demographic of people in set conditions. I aint paid for that, I just go off what the majority of people tell me, nothing flawed there.

Yes, I am very well aware that not all feedback is positive. Fun fact, most of it is negative. If you get no feedback, usually means you did good. People are quick to pull their guns out if there is a problem though.

Use it if you like it, and if you don't like them don't. There is no gain to me regardless, I simply share my pack because it's what I like and maybe others would like to use it too. I never expected it to grow as big as it did, but here we are. I appreciate your feedback, and I can understand why you dislike the pre-scene. Unfortunately, I am proud of the work that went into it so I will not be removing it. Mafia2, 3, 4, LSGTF, and LostMC swat callouts have no extra steps and would better fit what you are looking for.

Tldr;

I did not mean to come off as rude, that's text chat for ya.

I explained the cause of the issues that you experienced using the pack.

I don't run a poll; I just go off the most common feedback I get from people.

I don't care if a million people use my pack, or just me. I don't get paid and do it because I enjoy it.

^Nothing personal, just business. 🙃

Just a few quotes I can address, anything else I don't wanna argue against as I already wasted enough time in "text chatting."

That could be the case since I've added a lot of mods over the years, and upon arriving on scene, a few SWAT vehicles are responding as well. I thought about it but I refused to accept that as the sole cause, since in other scenarios such as high-speed pursuits or large shootout in public, many police vehicles were spawned with ELS on but no texture lost.

Indeed I hate the pre-sence and I'm grateful to have the option of playing the remaining SWAT callouts in this pack. I don't expect you to change anything nor I'll ask you to change anything, at all. Feedback can be thrown into the garbage or implemented as a feature, the choice is yours. And you're the boss of your own callout, whatever you do is up to you.

Please don't remind me that I have the option to not use your callout, I am aware of that and I'm not obsessed with your callout in anyway. Releasing a callout to public means responsibility, it is different from creating it for personal use. The artitude is the issue here all along, and that is your problem I'll not go further into that.

just found out some of the callouts aren't compatible with the EUP mod made by alex_ashfold, specifically the ones where you have to call in a NOOSE team (the violent gang one and the mafia ones) the callout immediately goes code 4 and in the top left it says "there was an issue with the backup file, please revert any changes"
