Boys and girls, what your eyes are looking at is Traffic Plus+, the most awesome traffic extension that you can install to improve your gaming experience for Gta V.


What Traffic Plus+, for now on TP+, does, is making the whole map a better place to experience and live.

But how TP+ actually does that?

Think about the current traffic system, you may have noticed that whenever the game gets updated, and a new version is released, there are no actual changes in the Single Player version, even tho new possible vehicles are there, you can’t sadly interact with them in any way if not with a trainer, but only you can use them.
To make the game map a better place it’s necessary to involve new vehicles, and this is fine, but how can you do that?
Don’t worry because this is exactly what Traffic Plus+ is meant to do.
There are literally hundreds of vehicles in the Gta Online universe, so we don’t have to worry about installing anything else than this mod, the needed additional vehicles are already in your game copy.
Now let’s talk about the way the new vehicles are involved in the streets of San Andreas.
Every single vehicle of the game has been adapted to what I considered being “it’s place”, this means that not all the new vehicles spawns everywhere at random, for example, you will never see a super car off-roading or a car acting as a boat or stupid vehicles like the Oppressor/Mk II, Deluxo, Stromberg, Toreador, Scramjet, etc.. which are not included in the mod and remained a player’s exclusive, and even more specifically, the wrong law enforcement agency in the wrong jurisdiction area.
Each file of this mod has over 2 years of development, which means that mistakes and failures over this time made me fully aware of what I was doing and, most importantly, how I was doing it. There are over 120 files this mod is made by, but the most important ones are basically 3 the popgroups.ymt file, the popcycle.dat file and the latest addition that made TP+ 3.0 possible, the vehiclesmodelsets.meta file.
Each of these files have a very different and unique function:
-popgroups.ymt: contains the list (or groups) of all the vehicles that Traffic Plus+ contains and it’s compatible with;
-popcycle.dat: it’s responsible for taking all the groups listed in the popgroups.ymt file and redistributing them each area of the map;
-vehiclesmodelsets.meta: you may have seen planes, helicopters flying, landing or taking off, boats in the seaside or port area, NPCs parking their car or doing something unusual, emergency vehicles responding like, police, fire, ems vehicles even tho you were not wanted… all of these “events” are called scenarios and they’re meant to diversificate the NPCs behaviours. Be aware that all the other files are scenario files, which means that each map’s area now has new behaviours you’ll be noticing as you play, I won’t spoil you anything.

But I’m not stopping here…
I do have… one more thing.

When it first came out, Traffic Plus+ revolutionised something that it’s been the same for almost a decade now, and now I’m ready to take this revolution even further thanks to the implementation of the vehicles by our favourite modders or entire modding communities. Vehicles that will appear in traffic like they’ve always been there following the same implementation standards of all the other Gta Online vehicles.
This is a unique feature that is exclusive for this mod, you won’t be able to find any other vehicle mod that did such a job in manually implementing every single vehicle making sure it’s spawn rate it’s right and the vehicle fits it’s area.
Traffic Plus+ now supports over 1800 additional vehicles, all linked in the TP+ Discord Server.
This feature allows you to fully customise TP+ and adapt it to your needs. If you decide not to download new vehicles, it doesn’t matter, because nothing will happen if you don’t do so and your FPS rate won’t be affected (it depends on the gameconfig type you’re using).

-We finally have 2 distinguished Versions: Traffic Plus+ Lore-Friendly (TP+ LF) & Traffic Plus+ Real (TP+ Real).
TP+ LF is now composed exclusively by the Lore-Friendly community vehicles (this allows you to customise your traffic too, once a new [Add-On] vehicle is installed, it will automatically spawn in traffic in the areas is supposed to).
TP+ Real it’s a very ambitious project that I’m working on, co-operating with IRL Vehicle developers, for now it’s an exclusive for the beta testers in my discord server, so, if you want to try out TP+ Real, join the TP+ Real Beta Program, via Discord.

-Introducing LF-Jurisdictions+ for Traffic Plus+:
For more than an year, TP+ Requested the Cops Back on the Beat popcycle.dat file to work properly (to able cops on patrol).
But now, LF-Jurisdictions+ it’s gonna do more than that;
All new departments in specific areas in all the San Andreas state. Here’s some examples on what you to expect by LF-Jurisdictions+:

FIXES:
-All the duplicates have been manually removed from the popgroups.ymt file, this will help the game stability, guaranteeing the same game performances that you know;
-Some GTA Online vehicles have been removed like the Rocket Bike which was too common and unrealistic;
-Now GTA Online vehicles are more common to see;
-Vehicles from the IVPack are a bit more common now, giving a bit more traffic variety if you have just that installed;
Some fixes were possible also thanks to LF-Jurisdictions+:
_We now have LSSD In Davis, Rancho and Vinewood Hills,
_The country side is now completely under the BCSO (Blaine County Sheriff Office) Jurisdiction.

This mod is absolutely amazing, one problem/bug i have found with ultimate backup when you're in a pursuit and radio for backup they spawn in but then sit there and do not move and get out of their vehicles, i replaced the files to vanilla and that fixed it. Maybe you could look into it? Thanks

I’m surprised to hear that, but that’s just an issue that happens randomly, and it’s not caused by TP+, the reason why you fixed that replacing the files with the original ones it’s just because you had to restart the game lol.

I use jurisdictions+for all my police cars, does this just add more patrolling police cars and dlc cars? I would like to have more variety in traffic but I have all my police vehicles for each area already.

I don't know if this is the right place to ask but does anyone know why vehicles on the road vanish and sometimes during traffic stops the peds vehicle disappears

There's a bunch of vehicles in your popgroups.ymt that don't exist in the game files, like the dominator7, dingo2, uranus2 or the ballers2 (allthough that last one might just be a typo from baller2)
Is there a reason for that? Like preparing for future updates?

Well... looks like you don’t know why Traffic Plus+ has a second “+”;

TP+ is compatible with every single vehicle released by all the Lore vehicles creators, so this mod allows you to customise your traffic, installing a new vehicle will automatically make it spawn where he is supposed to, increasing the vehicle’s variety.

See above, an other community member had this problem, I linked him a trainer that removes the restrictions.

i installed the mod and for some reason the textures are all bugged and i think that is making the game crash

This mod doesn't deal with any game textures at all, so that's a big no.

Sorry I have a couple of stupid questions as I try to season to my latest install. 

 

1. I assume for add on vehicles not already in your build I just need to add them to the popgroups in the relevant places, e.g. I have added BCSO5-7 with your existing BCSO1-4. Do I need to do anything to the vehiclemodelsets as well? 

 

2. I have noticed a lot of flatbeds on the freeway sometimes and wanted to reduce these a little (but not lose them completely) Do you know the best way to do this? I think (and can be wrong) this is where I need to add them to vehiclemodelsets and reduce the probability but really don't want to mess your files up.

 

3. I have ambulance with 4 skins, e.g. 1=city, 2=county, 3=Blaine Cty, 4= LSIA. I keep seeing the LSIA skin in Paleto Bay. Is there a way to correct that? The only way I can think of is to split them into 4 separate vehicles and adjust popgroups accordingly.

This is still a must have addon for me and my game 🙂

TP+ Add-On vehicles compatibility also means that whenever you'll install a vehicle that is compatible with this mod you'll magically see this involved in traffic as well, as for the skins, i'm not able to control them via popgroups, just via the vehiclemodelsets file, i think i'm gonna get rid of them in the popgroups cause of that.
Join the TP+ Discord in case you need anything else, i'll be there.

I love this mod, but I'm just curious, how would I change the location of where cop cars spawn? For example in Los Santos, I only see BCSO cars (sheriff 1/2/3) spawn, but I'd like them north of the city and have LSPD (police1/2/3/4) patrol around the city instead?

You'll need to install the propriate department for that area, you can find all the needed mods in the TP+ Discord server.

Can the number and probability of police cars parked in front of the police station be increased? I successfully added my own police car at popgroups.ymt, but I can't see many police cars parked or driving at the police station door or on the road.
