[ELS] 2018 Chevy Silverado LSSD 1.0.0

(8 reviews)

3 Screenshots

This is a 2018 Chevy Silverado I made.

THE SHERIFF TEXTURE WILL SPAWN WHITE, USING A TRAINER YOU CAN CHANGE IT TO ANY COLOR YOU WANT. THE COLOR IN THE PHOTOS IS METALLIC GRAPHITE BLACK.

INSTALLATION:

USING OPENIV, NAVIGATE TO:

MODS/UPDATE/x64/dlcpacks/patchday20/dlc.rpf/x64/levels/gta5/vehicles.rpf

ONCE IN THAT DIRECTORY DRAG AND DROP THE .YFT , _hi.YFT , AND .YTD FILES IN THE DIRECTORY.

TO INSTALL YOUR VFC FILE, GO TO YOUR GTA 5 MAIN DIRECTORY, FROM THEIR GO TO ELS/pack_default and drag and drop the vfc in that location.

How to fix the lights without the use of a trainer.

  • Open OpenIV
  • Go to GTA V > mods > update > update.rpf > common > data > levels > gta 5
  • Enter "Edit Mode"
  • Double-Click "vehicles.meta"
    • This will open the OpenIV Text Editor
  • At the top, search for (without the quotes) "<modelName>pranger"
    • For me, line 16762.
  • Scroll down and change line 16827 from:
    • <diffuseTint value="0xAA0A0A0A" />
  • To:
    • <diffuseTint value="0x00FFFFFF" />
  • Save the "vehicle.meta" file and exit OpenIV
  • Start LSPDFR and check; tinted lights should be good.
  •

Hey, I put this vehicle in my game and it looks pretty good, but the texture comes up as white - not black like in the photos - and also, the lightbar on the roof is completely blacked out. Did I install it improperly?

Here's the place I installed it, it was the only folder with a pranger file: Grand Theft Auto V\mods\x64e.rpf\levels\gta5\vehicles.rpf\pranger+hi.ytd

you can change the color of the car to what ever you want, and for the light bar being blacked out is because of you vehicle tint, remove the tint using a trainer

Yeah I'm aware of the wheel issue, I'm trying to work out a fix, I didn't make the base model itself, so I will try messing with the wheel and see what I can do but no promises.

You can try taking it to the LS customs and doing it that way, but I'm not sure if it will let you because it is classified as a police vehicle.

You don't get a gem like this every day, but can we get a version without side runners?

Thank you, and more than likely no, however I may release other silverados with different equipment down the line.

Can anyone make a skin with U.S Park Ranger for this car? Would be nice.

Use a trainer to change the window tint.

Any chance that there will be an all blue version of this truck? Sick truck though man. Keep up the great work

I will not make one, however it is very easy to just edit the texture and .xml file to make the lights blue.

 Two quick things.

1. This Silverado is absolutely gorgeous in Metallic Saxon Blue with a Pure White (Classic) Pearlescent

2. Does anyone know any good tutorials for how to edit the XMLs? I wanna switch around the light pattern up front, swap the interiors so they flash the opposite of the lightbar.

Or what you could do is install the file to DLC pack 3 And replace Sherrif2 which is the police SUV.

I just installed this on my last dlc pack (20) and realized that neither the taillights nor the headlights work... any ideas on whats going on?

both should work fine, more than likely an issue on your end. @Toaster.OGT
