Introduction

This is the continuation of the plugin Easy Loadout originally developed by @sr7066

From now on, I will be maintaining and updating this plugin.

This plugin allows you to define several different loadouts that you can quickly and easily use while on duty. This plugin was made with the goal of eliminating the long process of giving appropriate weapons after going on duty. This has an easy to use menu that you can use to swap between Loadouts and set which one is active, as well as a quick keybind to refresh your loadout!

Features

- An easy to use menu to switch between loadouts.

- A keybind to quickly give yourself the active loadout that has been set in the menu or the default loadout.

- Automatically get your default loadout when going on duty.

Using the plugin

You can open the menu with the keybind you have set in the included .ini file (Default F8).

You can press F7 by default to automatically get the active or default loadout quickly.

There is a lot of customization available in the included .ini files, you can very precisely configure all your loadouts and give them a name.

Installation

Drag and drop everything inside the “Grand Theft Auto V” folder to your main GTA V directory.

Default GTA V directory locations:

Steam:
 C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto V\

Retail:
C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto V\

Dependencies

The things listed below are required to use the plugin, some may be included.

- RageNativeUI (Included)

- RagePluginHook (Not included)

- LSPDFR (Not included)

Bugs and Support

If you would like to report a bug or ask for support, you can post it in the comments section below. Please don't ask for support in the reviews section.

I also have a discord server where you can report bugs and ask for support. I recommend joining the server, I will most likely respond faster and there are also other people that can help you.

Known bugs

If a bug is in this list, I am working on fixing it. If you have encountered a bug but it isn't in this list, I most likely don't know about it.

No bugs at this time

I can't really use the mod right now because the .ini file is all bunched up together so I can't tell where everything is. I don't know if it is just me or the update. Here's a picture of what the .ini file looks like below. I did not change anything, it installed like this.  If there are any fixes please let me know because this is a great mod and I want to use my loadouts on patrol. Thanks.

That’s what I’m doing. Hopefully there’s a fix real soon.

Post your RagePluginHook.log, it's probably not my plugin. It's tested really good, also by beta testers

Here's my rph log. Hopefully you find what's causing this bug. I really like your mod, but something is cramming all of the words together. Thanks for responding to my post.

I can’t find out why the ini file is like that from a log. I can’t do anything about it since it works fine for me and all my beta testers. You could try searching for a fix online. But try downloading the plugin from my github here: https://github.com/HazyTube/EasyLoadoutContinued/releases

It didn't do anything. I'll use the wordwrap thing someone else said to do. It works a little bit, but it's still not as organized as it should be. It's weird as to why it is even like that, but thanks anyway for trying to help.

Would it be possible to add components for weapons that dont have components(e.g. SMGs) in our loadout, and if so, should we use the format presented in the loadout.ini?

@HazyTube, I've been using 0.3.1.0 for weeks without any issues at all. Is it worth updating? This is one my essential mods and would hate to break it 😉 BTW, is it possible to add a flash light to the handgun? I can add one to all weapons, or a selection of individual weapons, but not to just the handgun. Not the end of the world (I add it in-game via trainer) but would be a welcome addition.

You should update to 0.4.1, if there are going to be changes to the api and plugins start using those, you probably won't be able to use them. This plugin works on 0.4.1 btw. And for the flashlight thing, I will think about it. But I don't promise it will be out any time soon

Sorry, I meant 0.3.1.0 of Easy Load Out Continued (I'm already running LSPDFR 0.4.1). Given that you've now updated 0.3.1.0 to the full release but I've had zero issues in my current version, I wondered if I was missing out on anything by not updating yet.

It is always recommended that you use the latest version, there are some small improvements with the final release. And probably performance improvements

Awesome, thank you for reviving this mod!! If there was one thing I would love to be added it would be to also have individual customization for pistols and shotguns (flashlight, extended mag..etc) like the assault rifles have.

Thanks! will probably add this feature soon.

Is that feature added yet? Or can we write new lines under the attachments?

Also suggesting features:
- Saving current Weapon loadout while in game.
- Able to make newer more Loadouts or delete per in-game
- Custom loadout names

This is probably the initial release.

And, custom names is already a feature.

That’s by default. you can customize your loadout via the .ini files.
