About This File

hi guys,

This is my first ever attempt at making a callout pack for LSPDFR, a, so I would appreciate every bit of feedback you guys give me!

This pack as of version 1.0.0 (you can always check the readme of the downloaded file to check the version number) contains 2 callouts. 1 is a suspect fleeing officers after failing to pay for their fare (fare evasion), and the second is a suspect hijacking a transit bus and posing a serious threat to the safety of the citizens of San Andreas.

PLEASE LET ME KNOW OF ANY BUGS IN THE COMMENTS SECTION (NOT THE REVIEW SECTION)

PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THIS IS A VERY EARLY STAGE IN THIS CALLOUT'S DEVELOPMENT, AND IT IS FAR FROM WHAT I WANT THE END PRODUCT TO BE

DO NOT REUPLOAD, DISTRIBUTE, OR SELL MY CONTENT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. IF YOU WANT TO USE MY CONTENT IN A CLAN, PLS CONTACT ME FIRST.

I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE DONE TO YOUR GAME.

Planned development:

V1.0.1: will add a new scenario driven callout which will involve a nearly fatal assault in the subway station, and will require the player to talk to witnesses, investigate the area, and apprehend the correct suspect

V1.02: will add a new potential terrorism callout, but I am still working on the details.

Thank you so much to @Sebofor helping me create this callout pack. Also, want to thank  @AlexBraun, @RoyceTheFox, @NoNameSet  ,and Rey (sorry couldn't find his name on LSPDFR) for helping to test the callouts for bugs, and for helping me with learning to use the RPH API.

What's New in Version 1.0.1

Released

both callouts are now functional, they are still in their early stages tho, as they still lack the amount of complexity and realism that I want to have in all my callouts. I am now working on the scenario based callouts, and depending on what you guys want, I will make more callouts. I once again apologize for the callout not working correctly in V1.0.0

SCREENSHOTS AND FOOTAGE OF THE MORE ADVANCED CALLOUTS ARE ON THE WAY!

You listened to criticism and fixed the callouts, so points for that, however it seems the Fare Evasion callout spawns at random locations, I feel it would be better if the call out spawned near a metro station, as for the Bus Hijacking callout, it's good although a little repetitive to every other callout pack, it being a pursuit, but I do understand that this is your first callout pack, with this said it's not bad at all for a first. Much better than anything I would come up with.

I will give you two stars for actually spending time creating content for the community - Kudos for that!

Lately it seems like to be the trend to upload very early buggy versions of a mod.

I would recommend to buildt up a decent amount of interesting (NEW!) callouts which work well and then you can still update.

Once you disappointed people they won´t come back!

Also get a decent amount of high quality pictures if you think about uploading a mod. Why should someone download it without knowing what it will be like, how the scenes are arranged etc... Also it catches the eye when browsing through the download section if done well.

The best would be a video showing of all the functions.

All of that may be details for you but imho all of it will make this look way more professional and will catch a lot more interest.

Still i wish the best of luck and thanks again for making a mod:)

Have a great day

I actually enjoy the callouts! Only gave it 4 stars only for the fact that fare evasion callout literally spawns a ped in the middle of a road, no where near a bus. And that one of the callouts will not work for me. "Assault in Metro" But other then that, it's a great idea man, hopefully you can get some updates in for it! Would love to see a fight at a subway station, or even some generic "boring" callouts, like a broken down bus, or even a bus collision, or person hit by a metro train. Make for something interesting!

Response from the author:

hey, thanks for the review! glad you liked the concept. the assault in the metro callout didn't work because it's not released yet lol, but will hopefully be done by the holidays.

Version 1.0.0

Currently both callouts crash upon accepting them.

Will change rating when this plugin actually works.

Version 1.0.1

Both callouts work, although my rating still stands at a 1 star.

Reason being the callouts are just peds being spawned in and fleeing.

It is an early phase and a first time script created by author but this is something constantly recycled over and over.

The standards for callout packs has moved up. You can't just making a callout pack this BASIC anymore.

The callout is in "Alpha" phase but what ratings are you expecting to get? 3,4,5 stars? No it doesn't work like that.

Firstly Both of these callouts spawn within a 2-3 block radius of the player.

Dispatcher says "We have a ........." For both callouts.

Bus spawns in and your in a pursuit right away for the stolen bus.

For fare evasion a PED just spawns in and your in pursuit right away. Like come on, this is used over and over. No dialogue, no waypoints, no Variety.

Pack is called Transit callouts but the locations of the calls don't take place near the transit.......

Note: For the Genius people saying, "Let's see you do better, stop complaining."

When a food critic goes to a restaurant and gives a bad review to the chef, does the chef come out and say "Can you cook this better than me?"

What is the point of reviews if you can't speak your opinion?

Think before you speak.

Response from the author:

your review is for an outdated version, everything is functional, although still a little primitive in execution, and not where i want the end product to be, it does work
