This pack contains 3 cars from the Florida Highway Patrol in the 1990s, including:
-1995 Chevrolet Caprice 
-1998 Ford CrownVictoria
-1993 Ford Mustang 5.0 Foxbody

 

Template has been provided if you want to create your own liveries. 

Lore-friendly liveries also included because... why not 😛

 

Disclaimer:
Please do not redistribute and reupload this pack to any website or any other sources, including models, 
screnshots, and liveries without explicit written permission. FiveM and other multiplayer server use is allowed
(except GTA Online).

 

Installation:

PLEASE PAY CLOSE ATTENTION ON THE INSTALLATION. FAILURE TO DO SO WILL RESULT IN ROTATORS NOT WORKINNG PROPERLY!!!

1. Use OpenIV and install the car mods to mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\patchday18ng\dlc.rpf\x64\levels\gta5\vehicles.rpf (Make sure you install the cars in their given car slots. If you want to install these cars as addons or in a different slot, you will have to edit carvariations.meta)
2. Install the VCF ELS files under Grand Theft Auto V\ELS\pack_default
3. Install carcols.ymt in mods\update\update.rpf\x64\data (REQUIRED FOR ROTATORS TO WORK! BE SURE TO BACKUP THIS FILE!)
4. Install carvariations.meta in mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\mpchristmas2\dlc\common\data (REQUIRED FOR ROTATORS TO WORK! BE SURE TO BACKUP THIS FILE!)
5. If the lights does not seem to be flashing, set the diffuse tint value to 
   <diffuseTint value="0x00FFFFFF" /> in whatever car slot you replaced in vehicles.meta file.

Make sure your using the pack's carvar and carcol. It's specifically designed for this pack.  Using other carcols and/or carvar from other packs will not work at all. 

 

Also make sure you install based on the slot name given by the car files in this pack. If you want to use a different slot you may have to edit carvar file directly.

    Amazing work great models . I have done everything down to a T in your readme installation and Evan just had these cars in a new MODS folder and the lights still don’t work for me

    Make sure your also installing the cars in their given slot. If you plan to use a different car slot you may need to edit carvariation.

    I have done that my friend every vehicle is in it’s designated slot clean vanilla mods file carcols and carvariations replaced and none of my entire fleet now has lights any ideas haha

    Assuming you have ELS installed, it might be helpful to read this guide here. Rotator vehicles are hard to modify and install.

    I have deleted my entire mods folder and installed just what your readme says to do and still nothing Evan my other cars have no lights could it be your carcols file ?

    Hmm I'll double check that. It shouldn't be tho since it works on me as well as beta testers. 

     

    You do have ELS installed correct? Just to make sure the cars are ELS.

    Just ran a quick test on my own. Carcol did screw something up. I'll patch an update soon. Thanks for reporting!

     

    EDIT: Turns out GTA V Update screwed up my carcol files and reverted it back to original. I'll upload a patch by today.

    Sorry for late response.

     

    That is very weird as I never seen this happen before. I'll try and look into it and check if the siren dummies are screwed up somehow. Try and ask others to install the mod and see if they have similar issue.

    Quick question, using the 2006 Tahoe's template, could you make a matching skin to this for that, since it is now technically a "retro" vehicle?

    Technically yes but I prefer keeping the pack in the 90s era.

    I think all you have to do is not install the vcf into your game right?

    No doesn't work like that. I modified the siren dummies to have it rotate the reflector instead of acting them as non-ELS lights.

    Not sure if it's just me, but there is no env lighting. Did I do something wrong here? The lights work fine. Everything is normal, just no env lighting.
