Requirements:

 

  • Traffic Policer
  • (Optional) Darkmyre's Search Warrant or Stop The Ped

 

Features

 

  • Ped Observation
    • Get observations for any ped
      • Automatic traffic stop observations for all occupants
      • Gets status of ped including mood, behavior, and signs of intoxication
  • [NEW] Lite Menu Based Computer System
    • Run record checks, issue citations, summons, and create arrest reports with the new computer system
    • Fully integrated with the rest of this plugin
    • Customizable XML files for charges and citations
      • IMPORTANT! Do not edit/add any new main root entries (eg direct descendants of the "Main" root). They will not be recognized by my plugin
        • You can only add/edit entries under these roots with the "Charge" name
  • Traffic Stop Questions
    • [NEW] Traffic stop questioning menu, replaces default LSPDFR+ one
      • To use, approach a car on a traffic stop and press the interaction key (default "Y") to open the menu
      • You can:
        • Ask the driver for their license and proof of insurance
          • If the driver has no license, a suspended license, or warrants, there is a chance they will refuse to identify themselves to you, which is arrestable.
        • Ask for passenger's identification
        • Tell the driver the reason for pulling them over (27 default reasons so far, just comment any more ideas you have and I will try to add them)
        • Ask general questions:
          • "Where are you headed?"
          • "Where are you coming from?"
          • "Is the address on your license current?"
          • "Do you own this vehicle?"
          • "How do you know the passenger(s)?"
        • Ask questions related to crime:
          • "Have you been drinking recently?"
          • "Have you you used any drugs recently?
          • "Is there anything illegal in the car?"
          • "Can I search your vehicle?"
        • Most question's answers will depend on the ped's mood/intoxication level
        • 210+ lines of mostly unique dialog
        • Any more ideas for questioning should be added in the comments!
    • [NEW] Issue warnings, citations, and summons with the new computer system
    • [NEW] Can now order occupants out of the vehicle
  • Field Sobriety Tests
  • Evidence
    • Store any evidence you find in any police vehicle
    • View stored evidence
    • Drop off stored evidence at any police station, marked by a "stash" icon on the map (pot leaf blip next to police stations)
  • Field Narcotics Test Kits
    • Narcotics stored in your evidence can be tested using reagent test kits in your trunk
      • Positive tests are automatically stored in evidence
      • Automatically recognizes when you store drugs in evidence and makes them available for testing
        • Drugs are not always what they seem, e.g. sometimes what you think is meth will turn out to be PCP or cocaine
      • If you use one of the custom XML files, these phrases are currently recognized by evidence storage as able to be tested:
        • "white powder"
        • "tan" or "brown powder"
        • "blotter paper"
        • "crystal" or "crystals"
        • "unmarked pills"
    • 5 different tests, based on real life counterparts (all information based on products from: http://www.sirchie.com/forensics/narcotics-investigation/pouches.html)
      • Marquis Reagent (meth, heroin, morphine, MDMA)
      • Scott Reagent (cocaine/crack)
      • Fentanyl Reagent (Fentanyl)
      • Phencyclidine Reagent (PCP)
      • Ehrlich's Reagent (LSD)
    • Custom narcotics.xml for DarkMyre's Search Warrant and PoliceSearch adds more options for unidentified drugs such as: "white powder", "suspicious crystals", etc
  • Automatic Pursuit Updates
    • When in a pursuit, will automatically give information on the speed and direction that the suspect vehicle is heading.
    • Also gives details on traffic condition such as light, medium, or heavy (togglable)
  • [NEW] Integrated Lite Court System
    • Upon creating an arrest report, a court case will automatically be generated for the arrest
    • There is a customizable amount of time between the arrest date and court date in the .ini file
    • Active court cases options
      • View name, charges, court date, and force early case hearing
    • Past court cases options
      • View name, charges, sentence, and delete one or all entries
    • Sentences depend on severity and amount of charges
    • [!!!IMPORTANT!!!] Due to the new court system, the XML structure of the Charges.xml has changed, adding a new attribute called "life" to every charge. If life is set to true, that charge can carry a life sentence.
      • You must update old customized XML files to include this attribute for every charge or use the new ones provided, otherwise the game will crash
    • [Coming Soon] Evidence system integration

 

Known Bugs:

  • Sometimes arrested peds will leave the backseat of your vehicle and try to drive away. No known fix but to grab them and put them back in the vehicle. Probably a plugin interaction.
    • Have not had happen to me in a while, please report for v2.2.1 if you encounter. Possibly fixed


Installation:

  1. Copy the "Plugins" folder to your main GTA V directory.
  2. Pick an XML to use depending on what search plugin you have for added realism! (not required)
  3. Enjoy!

Looking at Ultimate Backup's menu, it seems to function the same as my menu and have the same issue so I am assuming this is a limitation with RageNativeUI

That's a lot of errors lol, you can send me the file and I could take a look at it but you might be better off moving that one somewhere and replacing it with the default one for now

general.xml @Phaxol here it is.  I ended up either replacing it entirely or found one that did not have 2, let alone over 20,000 errors in it, lmao. So yeah, haha, there's the corrupted file for you. I can't for the life of me remember where it came from.

@LostBoyLazarus lmao, yeah all those over 20,000 errors are from the file listed above that I tagged Phaxol in. Very much a corrupted file. 

I've seen this before. I think it's from Search Warrant, or a mod made to add items to it. The issues are usually to do with incorrect symbols or placements such as using & or missing a < symbol.

Yeah I think you're right. Idk though, I know I found another one, whether it was CrazyZ's additions or the main plugin's general.xml file that I ended up editing and/or changing entirely. I know I edited a general.xml file which was causing the crash due to it saying Milk & Cookies. I had to change it say MilkCookies.

Have you got a working file now?

Yeah, 'Milk & Cookies' would have to be 'Milk and Cookies' to avoid an LSPDFR crash. Everytime I update one of my lore-friendly mods I have to check it first and it's rare if I get it right the first time. I've usually missed a " or a = but I've fallen for the & issue before a few times too 😊

The option should become available to you after the ped is in handcuffs in the computer system under the ped's ID

    Hello Author. 
    Thanks for this AMAZING plugin 
    You said a while ago that you will add some features for ped record check such as: random history of arrests + reasoning  and random  history of citations + reasoning.

    I think this will make this plugin complete. 
    Please free us from ComputerPlus which currently has this feature but causes crashes.

    This may make me look dumb or I may just not be looking hard enough, but is there a way to write a citation for a ped? I can only seem to do it if doing a traffic stop. Any help would be amazing :D. Thanks!

    Been getting crashes every so often when walking up to the window of a car during the start of a traffic stop. Seems to always be right after the pop up saying to wait for the script to deliver the state of the driver.

    After completing a traffic stop on a vehicle with two or more occupants the passenger will get out and start walking. Any ideas on why?

    This is not caused by Interaction+. It happens on base LSPDFR. Not sure why though. You're better off posting this in the LSPDFR forum.

    You must open the Interaction+ menu next to the ped (default "T") and get their ID first, then they should show up in the computer system. Keep in mind that Interaction+ does not stop the ped forever by default, and they will be dismissed in 30 seconds after stopping if not stopped by Stop The Ped or by changing the Interaction+.ini value "DismissTime"

    I think I have found the spot I missed error handling at, this should be completely fixed in the next release

    Q i beleve or shift q something like that should also be in your .ini ALSO  in your stop the ped ini

    @Phaxol Plugin has been working great so far. I just have a question and this will probably turn into a request of some kind.

    Is it possible to do the arrest reports on dead peds (criminals) who are successfully revived by EMS (or get their ID for the arrest report)? I tried to get the ID of the revived ped as he was walking to the ambulance and I was expecting LSPDFR to crash and sure enough it indeed did crash but I'm sure that's something I shouldn't be doing with your mod. 

     


    At around 19:00 is where I attempt to get the ID from the ped and I briefly show the log as well in case you wanted to see that.

    I'd suggest using LSPDFRs default EMS backup, who leave the ped on scene for you to deal with, do the arrest report, and then call a STP ambulance escort.

    Seems like ArrestManager is causing the crash although I cannot be totally certain that it is caused by Albo's Arrest Manager plugin. Have you tried removing Arrest Manager? If you have Bejolio's StopThePed plugin, you really do not need Arrest Manager anymore.

     

    I have yet to try out LSPDFR 0.4.2 with all my plugins, Interaction+ included so I'll see if I have crashes during a traffic stop.
