What does this plugin do? This plugin adds a realistic body cam overlay and also plays the sound every 90 seconds (by default, can be configured).

You can change:

The time between the beeps
The serial number in the overlay
The model text in the overlay
The logo and sound
A manual toggle key to activate/deactivate the overlay
The general overlay scale
The date
If it works in every view or first person only

A legit copy of Grand Theft Auto V
RAGE Plugin Hook

Installation:

1. Copy the files from the .zip into your Grand Theft Auto V\Plugins\ folder.
2. Check the .ini file in Grand Theft Auto V\Plugins\BodyCam\ and adjust the settings and keybinds to your liking.
3. Load the plugin via the RAGE Plugin Hook settings or ingame via the console and enjoy 🙂

How to use the custom logo/sound:

Logo: Place a .png with the logo of your choice (and preferably transparent background) in the Grand Theft Auto V\Plugins\BodyCam\ folder and name the file "custom.png".
Sound: Place a .wav file with the sound of your choice in the Grand Theft Auto V\Plugins\BodyCam\ folder and name the file "custom.wav".

Don't go too crazy with the logo/sound files and keep them as small as possible in terms of file size. Larger sizes might cause issues/crashes.

it used to and i think the majority in all honesty dont appreciate that it doesnt anymore but i havent got any proof of that

It's supposed to be turned on automatically in both first and third person. I'll try to get with @Sebo after work and see what's wrong. Just to be clear, it doesn't work at all?

i thought with the most recent update for third person that was changed, i thought it was weird there was nothing in the INI file, i have to turn it on manually rn

It's supposed to be on automatically in both view modes. There isn't an option to disable the 3rd person display, just the key for manual toggle.

Before Sebo came out with Body Cam we were editing the image of the body cam while editing the video for upload to youtube, maybe you watched one of those.

No it was a feature i had the older version, i just had to entirely redo my game because i was getting texture loss and glitchyness so now i have the new one, if there isnt going to be automatic first person bodycam anymore ill probably just get rid of it, its too clunky to hit another key every time i enter first person, i know this is picky but im a picky person

You got me wrong there. I never said that it was never a feature lol. It has always been a feature. At least up until the most recent version, because now it's no first person only anymore.

It turns on automatically once you load the plugin, and then you can just turn it on and off anytime you want, in any view you want.

I'm real sorry, I guess I misinterpreted you. I thought you were acknowledging that it was never a feature in first person, which is what I was asking.

Either way, that feature is back if you disable the third person overlay in the .ini.

I loved this! I used it a few months back, but deleted as I wanted to play online. But my god!! This just adds realisim. I want to make a video and include this mod. is it fine?

Update with customisable sound please - the Axon Body 3's seem to have a shorter, sharper double bleep + other body cams can be done this way!
