Falcon Radar 1.0.0

Replaced it with the Vintage_pistol as it is, but it's still the vintage pistol in the game. Is there a file I need to delete too ?

No, just place it in this location.

Mods > Update > x64 > dlcpacks > patchday8ng > dlc.rpf > x64 > models > cdimages > weapons.rpf

If your using lspdfr+ for the functionality then you need to replace the singleshot files. Thats the way I got it to work and its perfect

Great thanks ! I originally placed in Patchday3ng, I did this and it replaced the model. It works for me when I'm outside the car, but inside the car it still fires like a weapon which looks funny a radar gun shooting bullets lol.... any insight on how to fix this.

What are the single shot files ?

Ok , just rename Majorpaines files to w_pi_singleshot..... do the ydr,  ytd files      the path to these files is C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto V\mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\patchday8ng\dlc.rpf\x64\models\cdimages\weapons.rpf  and it will work, the marksman pistol which albo uses in LSPDFR+  is not the vintage pistol, its the singleshot pistol

I have properly added the radar gun sweet I may add, just wish it would work in the car, its kind of a pain getting in and catching up when you clock someone haha, but until that's figured out I'm in awe at the work everyone has put into this game ! Amazing !!

It doesn't even allow me to choose the marksman pistol in the car, the radar gun is there outside of the car but not in the car, when cycling through my weapons in car it only lets me select my taser, combat pistol and flare gun.

Oooh, is there a setting in the ini file that let's you choose a weapon?

in the ini file it asks which weapon you want to use as the radar gun and says note you wont be able to use this weapon as a firearm.... this is what my radar gun looks like inside the car, tried using both released radar guns btw... and it still shoots like a real gun, bullets and all...

Found it, Yes in Albos traffic Policer it does have an INI and you can change the name  so you could use the vintage pistol for easier installation, my bad.

Ok well seems just as easy to rename the files so either way, what we need now is one that shows the speed on the display, GTAIV had one!!!!
