Body Bags 1.0.0

(22 reviews)

4 Screenshots

Hello everyone, So as you know The coroner uses trash bags as body bags and it was annoying and unrealistic, and therefore i made this simple mod to replace the trash bags for body bags on stretchers. You have the choice of a regular body bag or a bloody one. I hope you all enjoy as i have.

I love the idea and I wanted it for a long time. Could you please do that apart from the current options you could also choose to only appear the bag without the stretcher ?.

Thank you very much

What current options are you referring to?

If it could be included as the only possibility of the bag, it would be great. Thank you

This is great, I also was curious would you be able to make this mod without the stretcher included? So it would just be a bodybag on the ground instead of the trashbag?

Does this replace the rubbish bags? If so, doesn't that mean there will be random stretchers lying around in the streets?

I downloaded the Body Bags mod and I don't quite get where the 2 files go into.  The readme says  Place the 2 files in x64c.rpf/levels/gta5/props/lev_des.rpf located in your mods folder.  In my mods folder I have update and x64 folders.  So where do I go from there?  Also there is a PNG file but I don't think it is required to be put somewhere.  It doesn't say to do anything with it.  So do I not do anything with that PNG file?  I'm kinda new to modding so this one I'm not quite getting where to put the files.

If you don't have x64c.rpf in your mods folder then copy it to your mods folder and from there follow the instructions. The PNG file is an optional texture for those who want the body bags to spawn with blood splatter on it.

Ok, got it and it works.  I'm slowly figuring out were game files need to be copied for some of these mods to work.  The mods I've downloaded so far were easy enough (Albo's mods) and saw the first 7 of his vids but all he said at that point was to copy the x64 and update folders to the mods.  Maybe he explained that in later vids that I didn't see.  Anyway, I'm getting it.  Thanks!

Okay, so I figured out how to install this mod correctly. The file path in the readme is incorrect. The proper path is: x64c.rpf/levels/gta5/props/lev_des/lev_des.rpf (happy body bagging!) Thanks to majorpaine2015 for his creation.

Another example of poorly written instructions.

People should not be allowed to post addon files here if they cannot leave proper instructions.

Hi! Great model!

I was wondering, if you could make a version without the bag. We would love to use your model for our EMS on FiveM server 🙂

Perhaps. But many necessary nonetheless.

I think there should be a proper vetting done to ensure that well written instructions are included.

Could you imagine if every willy nilly person left a poorly written set of instructions. Oh wait. we almost have that here, sometimes. Lol

It just helps the community overall. It's primarily the reason why so many people make mistakes with the installations. And then we hear people complain about how they should have followed the instructions. Consistency leads to understanding, like you wouldn't believe.

It's a simple instructions that tells you exactly where to place the files. Anyone with a brain knows that. Forgive me if yours is missing.

If that were the case, then many people wouldn't be posting questions here in this same thread about it.

So the evidence is here that the included instructions are not adequate or are unclear.

Appreciate your help though.

So you're telling this person, who made this mod on his own free will, in his own free time, for free, and uploaded it for you so you could have more fun playing the game, that he is "willy nilly" and generally addressing him as if he's an employee of yours? Your comment is reported and I do hope you'll have some attitude adjustment.

@majorpaine2015, thanks for the mod, I've been missing that little detail in my game!
