2010 CVPI - Unmarked V.1.0

(10 reviews)

Los Santos Police Department

Information:

An unmarked car with minimal lighting, perfect for gang patrols and stings! Once again a minimalist style lighting setup, simple but effective. This vehicle has  breakable windows (mostly, see known bugs). You can put this car in any law enforcement slot as long as it is based on a CVPI (Stanier). Make sure to put all vehicle files in the latest patchday. If your windows are tinted by default, go to your vehicles.meta and replace the diffusetint value for whatever slot you replaced with:"0x00FFFFFF". If you have any problems / bugs please post a comment about it instead posting a negative review, as it may just be a simple fix. I will try to help fix any problems and answer any questions.

What do you mean? This version is already pretty low key. Undercover as in a SAP vic?

Well right now it's "unmarked", which means it doesn't have any police markings or agency livery. But a true undercover you would not see the huge antennas, the rifles/shotguns in the car, etc, etc

There IS a difference between undercover and unmarked.

I might give it a try, but it will take time if I do.

No worries man, just offering some suggestions, still a very beautiful model. Thanks!

Thank you! I'll make the CVPI into the SAP package and remove most of the visible equipment, but maybe keep the puck antenna for a little detail.

could you possibly leave the car as it is now but put steelies on it?

The lighting and interior equipment are perfect.

Any chance there could be a future version with some dash lights?

Great car! It's awesome to see some minimal options being made. Don't change a thing bro. I'm not sure if anyone else is having this issue, but the height of the viewpoint for the interior view is too high. I'm getting all visor.

Thank you so much! I think I have an idea of what the problem is, but I'm a bit busy atm, so I'll look into it and get back to you in a few hours with the solution.

Try going into your vehicles.meta, finding the slot you replaced and setting the "<layout>" entry to this: <layout>LAYOUT_STANDARD</layout>, that should lower your view.

So far, this hasn't helped. I have a feeling it's something on my end but I'm not too sure.

Hmm that's weird, I haven't been able to recreate it on my end, so I'm not sure what's going wrong.
