[ELS] LSPD Vehicle Pack 1.1.0

(65 reviews)

10 Screenshots

FILE INFO:

This vehicle pack contains 10 vehicles; 6 patrol, 2 traffic enforcement and 2 unmarked cars. The following cars are included:

2011 CVPI

2013 Tahoe

2014 Charger

2015 FPIU

2016 Charger

2016 FPIS

2016 FPIS - Unmarked

2014 Charger - Unmarked

2011 CVPI - Traffic Enforcement

2016 Impala Traffic Enforcement

Patrol and Traffic Enforcement vehicles have working takedowns and alley lights.

PLEASE NOTE -  The unmarked vehicles have been separated from the main folder and are their own download due to upload size limits.

- If you do not have extra police slots setup POLICE5 and POLICE6 will not work in game. You can rename these to whatever you want. Just make sure your vehicles.meta, mainly the handling lines, are correct (so you don't have SUV handling for a sedan or something).

PREVIEW VIDEO:

(The aux coronas don't show up in the editor, so this isn't a completely accurate representation of in game lighting with included VCFs, but you get the idea).

OTHER INFO:

  • TINT BUG? Go into the vehicle.meta and find the 'diffusetint' line for the particular model (SHERIFF2, SHERIFF, POLICE, etc). Replace that value with <diffuseTint value="0x00FFFFFF" />  ... Or simply change the tint in game with a native trainer
  • If your Impala is flipping try a different handling line. I have had luck with POLICE3 and FUGITIVE
  • If you are changing the liveries YOU MUST change the textures in both the normal .ytd and the +hi.ytd ... if you just change it in one or the other the liveries will be different at different distances.
  • If you don't like something about the lighting patterns, speeds, light stages or anything related to ELS chances are you can change it! ELS is extremely customizable. Check out the ELS documentation, please don't ask me. All the info you need is in there.
  • If you notice a bug or mistake (which I most likely have made a few) please let me know, and I'll try to fix it in the next update. It could be an easy or quick fix.

I assume you have an asiloader.log now?

Install location shouldn't matter. Try removing the tint with a trainer and see if that makes any difference. If it does, you may have botched the tint flag in vehicles.meta. If not, maybe you just need to edit visualsettings.dat.

Yes, asiloader.log shows up now, and all ASI files are showing as loaded successfully. The tint setting in vehicles.meta within patchday15ng already had the tint setting noted in the readme set, I didn't have to change those. I've loaded 3 different versions of visualsettings.dat from the RadianceV pack and lights still do not work for me. This is driving me insane.

Extract the visualsettings.dat somewhere and open with a text editor. Search for:

car.defaultlight.day.emissive.on

and
car.defaultlight.night.emissive.on

Try setting those much higher, like 3000 and 2000 respectively. Adjust to preference.

OpenIV, tools -> ASI Manager and remove everything, then reinstall. Reinstall latest ScripthookV from http://www.dev-c.com/gtav/scripthookv/, toss in some reboots.

That did the trick! Apparently VisualV has very low settings as a default, 1.50 to be exact. I changed it to 2000 on both and both worked.

First of all this pack is awesome 10/10,but could you just add a Police Transport Van ? Maybe Ford E Series or Chevrolet Express 3500 that would be awesome...Great job again! :)

@BradM  I've begun the slow process of switching out your red/blue lights with all blue, and am currently doing the Explorer.  The rear lights by the license plate are still red/blue, despite everything else being blue.  I've looked through the .ytd, and I can't figure out why they are still red.  Can you point me in the right direction, please?

It's the micron texture

.......I'm an idiot.  I didn't scroll the Micron texture up, so I didn't see it actually had lights on it.  Thanks.

Easy to miss, the .ytd has a shitload of emissive textures and I don't think it's using but a few of them.

I've noticed that.  One example is a texture named Raydeon something.  It has a shit ton of red/blue lights in it, but I don't think any of them are used.

Yeah I didn't consolidate the emissives textures into one with this pack so they're kind of a mess. You've probably switched them all already, but you can also just import the all blue textures I have in the options folder all at once into the .ytd instead of replacing each one. Makes it a bit easier.

Pfffft, convenience, the easy way.  I prefer making things more difficult and manually changing them.

The idiot isn't wanting to admit he didn't check the options folder. At all.

@BradM I am not sure if you have noticed but in unmarked FPIS strobes in headlights remain red and blue even if you import all files included in all blue folder. Am I missing something or this is just a simple fix for you? Anyway, great cars and I really love them but solving this issue would be a cherry on top!

@CarlSkotch have you changed colors in the .xml file in pack_default\? (Where you put your vcf files)

I am trying to change the lighting to all red, but the lights by the licence plate and on some of the cars next to the break lights, are staying blue on the passenger side.  I've changed all the lighting (I believe) Including the micron.  Any ideas?

is there anyway to have a completely clear lightbar both front and back?

CT1monkey

Members

Hi @BradM or anyone else who would like to help me with this problem :D

As you see in the video at 0:11 the lights are just as bright behind as the front emergency lights (on the lightbar). But for me the lights on the backside of the lightbar are very dim because it is shielded by textures. Idk if you can understand my description, I can also send a picture. Anyway, does anybody know how i can solve this :DD

PS: Srry for my English =>)
