Lore Friendly Texture for FPIS 1.0.0

(0 reviews)

16 Screenshots

Hey guys this is my first lore friendly texture. I saw the picture (first one above) and had to do it. I don't know what agency is, thus Los Santos Police. This vehicle is meant for TwistedScope Miami Police Pack FPIS. The one in the screenshot is with the legacy light bar. For those of you who know me know I love my brackets and thus this one has it. But all jokes aside, I really do hope you enjoy my texture. It took a while to make but I liked how it came out in the end. Leave me some feedback or friendly compliment, I'll try to respond to you as quickly as possible. Anyway guys link is down below and take care til' my next release!

Hey guys I just wanted you to know I'm doing a little project to bring back the Ford Crown Victoria. If you want to help me click the link below to sign my petition from change.org.

Also I made a brochure on how the next gen Crown Vic will be made, be sure to check it out on your spare time.

By the way, I was surfing through the web and saw some sheriff/police dept have "In God We Trust" so that's why it's on my texture. Just wanted to point that out for any of you curious of that.

just letting you know, the crown victoria you know is never coming back. even the newest model is based off of a 20+ year old design.  it's not modern by any means, and just adding more airbags and a new drivetrain doesn't make it modern. also the explorer and taurus are selling well, with the new fusion pursuit coming out. they may bring back the nameplate, but the panther platform is dead.

@Sleepwalker true explorer sell more. An article I was reading that 50% of all American police cars are explorers. Taurus sold 11%. According to Ford's 2009 brochure "84% of police cars in America are Ford Crown Victorias". So it would benefit ford and also the hundreds of people who lost their jobs.

let's be honest. the fuel economy is terrible on crown vics. they don't handle nearly as well or go anywhere as fast as the explorer or taurus. the great thing about the new PI platform is you get a choice of good drivetrains and options (awd or twin turbo ecoboost). it wouldn't be in ford's financial interest to upfit new vehicles standards (ASM, TC standard) to the old body on frame panther body. it is a great platform,  don't get me wrong, i have a 2011 p7b myself. it's just outdated for the needs of officers today.

@Sleepwalker true fuel economy, however i was reading an article where a police dept ran crown vics on propane they found out it's more effcient than taurus runing on gas. As guy who plans to join law enforcement let me tell you problems with cars mainly used where i live.

Taurus- too small and uncofortable (cops in my area do 12 hr shifts so they like space)

charger-maintenance, space is ok but not all police depts can afford it as main patrol car. Aslo they made it smaller.

impala- fwd. unibody platform and smaller than crown vic.

caprice-don't have one in canada

crown vic- fuel economy and tech i admit are it's fault. However very spacious, massive trunk space, reliable and easy/cheap to fix.

So I hope you understand why I would like this car back. Take it from me, I've talked to 6ft cops who sit in a taurus, not nice. And they hate the new fusion because it's smaller.
