Realistic Glock Sound Effect For Pistol/CombatPistol [FiveM and Original] 2.0.0

(1 review)

[OUTDATED]

Since this file was originally posted, there have been many updates to GTA V. Some of these updates have changed audio file names. due to this version being as of May 2017, installing this audio modification MAY corrupt your in-game audio. I am uncertain if my modification is no longer working as I no longer play GTA V/LSPDFR. Use as your own risk.

I spent Hours on this sound and I am now proud to present it to the community. I decided to create my own after not enjoying some of the released Glock sounds that are out there already. This sound is loud just like how it would sound shooting the real gun without earplugs in. Any Feedback is more than welcome, but the only thing is ask is you leave it in the comment sections and not the reviews section since I am able to fix these things very easily and quickly. This is my first gun sound modification, but i personally think it turned out pretty good.

New Sound Video (Will Create New One Soon). Don't Worry about the screen flickers or explosion sound; I messed with the Rockstar editor and kind of screwed it up.

Thanks for the feedback! I will work on a more outdoors version and update this when I have finished (1-3 days)! The original video was recorded outside but it is possible that the amount I amplified it could have decreased its outside sounding effect. I tried my best to make the shot sound fade out after firing so it sounded like it was outdoors, but I'm not a guns person so I have a bit of trouble differentiating outdoor and indoor shots. Never fired a gun in my life so i'm trying my best to replicate shots! You don't know how glad I am to have you all  help me make this sound the most realistic it can be and I would love to have some of you guys listen to my edits before releasing it to everyone. If interested feel free to DM me!

for what gun did you install this for? If it was the pistol, i can look into it since I haven't tested that in game yet. I added the pistol version at the last minute so there may be an issue. If you installed for the combat pistol an read the directions, then it should work fine. Instructions are in the file so i suggest trying it again if this was the case.

works fine for me... I don't know what you did but you didn't do it correctly... Go get Insurgency Sound Mod so you don't have to verify the game cache. It should be a simple drag and drop AWC file and a couple drag and drop weapon sounds that go into weapons_player...

Here is the link, but again it isn't my file I don't believe since it worked for me and your the only person that has said it doesn't work.

you may have installed it wrong. I have gotten others saying this too so I will take a look into what may be the cause of this issue. Thanks for the feedback!

ThisIsntMyName I know this might be THE dumbest question you've been asked (I apologize i'm really new to this) but in your installation instructions what do you mean by 'drop onto your ArchiveFix'? Thanks in advance dude.

thats for fiveM. you have to have a program called archive fix to change audio files for five m

Oh okay so just ignore that part for normal installation?

yes, I think I might have accidentally included that in the normal install instructions to RIP.

no. It only replaces 2 files in the gta v game.

I only installed combat pistol, and both my combat piston and my pistol are now silent in game. Some audio file somewhere is too big causing it be muted surely? Similar to those who had issues with siren mods that were too big? Its installed correctly as per your explicit instructions.

I have a problem, so for me openIV says "ptl_pistol.oac(Line 16): File "ptl_pistol\PTL_PISTOL_SHOT.L.wav" not found."

for me it sounds like theres only the right ear audio or something plz halp
