San Andreas Record Data Access System (SARDAS) 1.6.1

(17 reviews)

4 Screenshots

Hello LSPDFR community!

Today I'm releasing a new plugin/application. This is the San Andreas Record Data Access System - SARDAS for short. It's a Windows application you can run on a computer in real-life that will allow full access to ped/vehicle records, IN GAME!

This is a combination of a RagePluginHook/LSPDFR plugin, to access the ingame data, and a Windows application to run on any other computer that accesses the API provided by the plugin. You will be able to access any ped/vehicle records from any computer connected to the same network!

The SARDAS-unified zip contains the plugin, client app, and API documentation. There is also a seperate zip download for each individual part.

Please make sure to read the README - this plugin is somewhat more complicated than most, due to its nature (Networking is tough!). Please read the README!!!

What's New in Version 1.6.1

Released

----------------------

Version 1.6.1

----------------------

  • Client
    • Fixed HTTP errors not giving any notification on login. Will now notify when errors happen
  • Plugin
    • Fixed API issue causing non-localhost connections to fail
    • Added additional plugin logging

You sure the search window isn't opening on another screen or something? It should always appear.

The login issue is caused by using search to find your IP if it's on your local computer. If it is (if you're running SARDAS on the same computer as GTA), you should use "localhost" or "127.0.0.1" instead.

The search window is there...but he found nothing.

The client is on my laptop and i use the ip from my computer where GTA is installed.)

But it´s not working.

So....i open the client on my computer.  Under search he found my ip, but when i press login nothing happens.

OOoooh, that makes a lot more sense.

Yeah, for some reason, attempting to log in via that ip locally causes it to throw an error (which, of course, I don't handle properly).

It sounds like either your laptop or computer is blocking the network access via firewall - make sure the ports are open, and you can temporarily turn the firewall off to make sure that's the issue.

Ok, have turn off thefirewall on both computer. Now he found the server ( stupid firewallt ).

But when i press login, nothing happens.

( Had in the firewall the port 1086 open. I don't know where the firewall is still disturbing )

OK, on the computer it works now. =)

But still not on my laptop. It found the server but the login does not work.

Would love to see this integrated like the police+ computer with the backup and the callout details, that way my wife can use the laptop and roleplay as my patrol partner. I was looking for a plugin like this!

Okay, buddy.

How the hell i install this?

For me, the ReadMe makes absolutely no sense.

What do i have to do?

Why there're 3 different download folders with nearly the same files?

I'm absolutely confused!

You need only "SARDAS_unified_v1.6.zip"

Plugin comes to GTA, the client on your laptop or computer.

Okay. Done.

And then?

How do i start it in- game?

What do i have to do on my desktop?

Do i have to start the client before starting the game, or after starting GTA V?

When i click on the client- application, Windows tells me it doesn't work anymore.

That... may be a feature on the board ;)

There are 3 different downloads with the different parts of the app. Client contains only the client (the program that you run on the computer), plugin contains only the plugin (you install it just like any LSPDFR plugin), unified has both of them. If you're not sure which one you want, just grab unified.

To install it, you need to copy the files I say to in the README into your GTA plugins folder, just like with any other LSPDFR plugin (like a callout pack). Then, you run the client application on the other computer (or your local one if you don't have another one). Depending on your network configuration, you might be able to use the "search" button on the client to find the computer running GTA.

Go on-duty in LSPDFR - it loads just like any other plugin.

You can launch the client at any time, but it won't be able to actually do anything unless you go on duty. Once you're on duty, you can log in and use it.

Did you extract the client completely, including the DLL files? Those are required, and it will probably crash if they're not in the same folder as it.

Okay, did everything you wrote.

But can't run the client application.

Windows says, it doesn't work anymore.

Any ideas?

Ow. I knew I shouldn't have made that window resizable. Uh, let me see if I can reproduce that issue, I think I have an idea.

Yeah, so you need to extract the client - if it's in the .zip folder it won't work

This for sure looks like an amazing plugin, I've been sitting for a while wondering if people would want external software that hook into GTA.
It's nice to see someone took the time to give it a try, and as someone with multiple screens I'm going to really enjoy this.

Localhost only if you have the client on the computer where GTA is installed.

If you have the client on a laptop, you have to take the ip of the computer.
